  • I love the promise President Eyring makes that if things are hard in this day, the next day things will be better if we choose to serve God in this day. A girl in my seminary class brought this up. It was really inspiring!

  • I absolutely love this.

  • I hate it when I procrastinate. Especially when it comes to homework.

  • how marvelous are the words spoken.. how great is the message... love it

  • I am an athiest. Why put it off?

  • I was really touched by this message. Heavenly Father has given us agency and time---agency to do with our time what we choose. I am inspired by this message. Do the right thing for the right reason for Christ, and do it today.

  • I've watched this video several times throughout the past couple of months. It continues to remind me of the importance of today. I love Elder Eyring, he truly is an apostle of Christ.

  • Really this gospel is about Christ like love, and faith, hope, charity and service to our fellow brethren and to serve the Lord. And I am glad to be apart of this church. :)

  • i choose today! :)

  • Awesome!

  • Oh how I love when others from all faiths, diverse or not, hear words of Christs apostles and feel the truth in their heart. He lives. I am a witness of this. Miracles have been wrought in a 17 year old boys life, thus transforming me, and making me whole. He lives.

  • This made me cry i love this video

  • Excellent counsel for our day! Thank you.

  • I love this video, watching it testifies of the truth. The truth which can have in our lives. But if you want good things in your life, you have to put them there.

  • I watch this often. It brings me so much peace and reminds me that I don't have to do it all -- just what He asks and if I listen . . . and do . . . life is easy.

  • Truly amazing message

  • Can we get these translated to Portuguese too? That would be great! I have some friends I would like to share these with.

  • Choose Today!

    :)

Love his words. so wise and inspiring!

  • Wow! I really needed to hear this!

  • To me this video describes one of the most difficult, and most common of all human challenges - how we use our time. Great, inspiring advice. I love Elder Eyring!

  • aw aw awe awes awesome video..:)

  • i really like this video, I needed to hear this today

God answers our prayers in so many different ways.

    THanyou

  • So so wonderful

  • He has obviously had the same kind of experience I have had in trying to overcome procrastination. I really like the suggestion to just focus on today - I have seen his promises come true as a result.

  • Thank you so much for making this.. Ihave needed to hear this message again, and the video mix is wonderful. Thank you again.

  • Wonderful message!!! =)

  • Thanks.

Great message. Time is merciless and implacable. We have to do a right while there is still time..

You are a true Desciple of the Lord, president Eyering..

  • When it comes to works and faith, we are saved by our faith in the Lord; and His grace. However, that being said, if we have true faith in Him, then that faith will cause us to act and do good.

Faith without works is dead. Work and faith are interchangeable; you cannot have one without the other. It is the faith that Saves us, but the work automatically comes to those who have faith.

Thank you for this video. ^_^

  • "It is hard to know when we have done enough for the atonement to change our natures and so qualify us for eternal life"

Does this imply that we are saved by works instead of the atonement on the cross?

  • 2 Nephi 25:23 reads that "...it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do." and in Alma 24:11 we learn that the phrase "all we can do" means "to repent of all our sins."

I believe that it means that it requires effort on our part- repenting of our sins, of which service is a part of, or at least perhaps a good indicator, and certainly the saving power of the atonement of Jesus Christ.

  • We believe that it is only through the Grace of Christ that we are saved. We also believe that Christ expects us to become like Him by having faith in Him, repenting, being baptized, receiving the Holy Ghost as our guide for our lives and then enduring to the end by continuing to keep commandments. When have we done enough to change our own natures to become like Him? When do we have enough faith?Christ has saved us all by dieing on the cross but we have a part to play too.I know this is true

  • No, this message points out that as we seek the guidance of our Father in Heaven in our lives and striving to serve him it brings us closer to him, and it is by this closeness that the atonement can work in your life to make that change.

  • God bless Mongolia! I love this messege !

  • I am going to renew my commitment to serve. Elder Eyring knows what to say and how to say it. I know Christ lives and loves us.

  • Thank you for this video, a good reminder that we can always set time for the Lord...

  • muy lindo

  • i'm not a mormon im a catholic but its basically samething but this was a good message good job.

  • I love this message! President Eyring is amazing!

  • Great point - made me think and hopefully will help me not procrastinate my homework. XD

President Eyring reminds me of Obama for some reason (except he's about 537 times more awesome). I think it's his voice.

  • The difference is President Eyring always speaks the truth.

  • Even though I'm a Buddhist, this video makes a good point. Why put off and put off the joy and peace and compassion that we can have today?

  • great vid i love hearing the faith of the people who are here to help us in this latter days.

  • Great counsel. I am going to do something today!!

  • HaHa Elder Eyring looks like my dad. I love his talks, always spiritual enriching.

  • Thank u for sharing this nice video. Its beautiful and a blessing to me.

  • Thank you, President Eyring, for your faithfulness and example, and for sharing these words of inspired counsel from the Lord! As I listen to your words, I feel Heavenly Fathers love!

  • I love these messages. It's so good to have prophets in our day. This makes me want to pick up my scriptures right now... Well, maybe someday. Just kidding =) Now is great!

  • as long as you do your best you will go to heaven :) and you can learn if these prophets are true if you pray with the faith that God does answer prayers..

  • why would he think it's hard to know if he"s done enough to get into Heaven? He doesnt have to do anything except do what Jesus asked in the Bible...If u think good works save u, then u missed the point of Jesus' atoning sacrifice. Please read the journal of discourses or some information on the teaching taught by BY called Blood Atonement. Take Care

  • To those of us in this world, we must always be ever vigilant. Even righteous people must continually repent everyday. Look at King David. He was a good man in the eyes of God, but because he sinned he lost his blessings. Even with the atonement of Christ, this does not automatically guarantee us a first-class seat in Heaven.

  • Great video. Just what I needed today!

  • i love GOD so much and i dont

know if i going to heaven = (

i do good things and i also hear

hard metal and emo songs = l

i sometimes do sins and some

times i pray = l so tell me were im

goning = ( if you want to

  • flippyroxx, what you need is to know that Jesus died once for all (all of your sins) and that complete and total forgiveness is yours when you accept Him as your Savior. Read the Bible, especially Romans. No one is good enough for heaven. Jesus is our way. God bless you

  • That is between you and the Lord, the spirit of promis however, can come into your heart to confirm to you that your way of living is acceptable to the Lord. If you have not yet felt that, or have not for sometime, I would suggest asking the Lord what He would have you do next. That's always worked for me, and it's so worth getting that feeling back!

  • Keep these messages coming...I wish there were at least two a week.

  • Found the entire talk in Ensign, May 2007- thank YOU!

  • Does anyone know which talk this is from?

  • I'm incredibly moved by this message. It is exactly what I needed.

  • This is our first full general conference and the love that is shown is great beyond that of the "everyday". Service to the Lord should be first!! All others, including ourselves secondary! The Lord our saviour and redeemer lives. Remember!

  • Congrats! It's not easy getting all sessions in, but the benefits are out of this world! No really, I mean that just as I said it! =)

  • hasta la vista

  • Love Henry B. Eyring! I always look forward to hearing him!

  • Can anyone show me in the King James Bible that we are suppost to have Apostles and a Prophet today? Thank you.

  • How about 1 Corinthians 12:28 or Ephesians 3:4-5 or Ephesians 4:11-13. There's also Revelation 11:10 and Luke 6:13. That's just a few to get you started and I'm sure with a little work you can find many more examples on your own. Good Luck, peace be with you.

  • Response to TheRebuker:

Paul taught that the foundation of the Church is built upon prophets and apostles, with Jesus being the Chief Cornerstone (Eph 3:20)

Amos taught that the Lord will always reveal His secrets to his prophets (Amos 3:7)

The question to ask is not if we are supposed to have prophets - it's obviously part of God's plan to have prophets. The question is How do you know that these prophets and apostles are true?

  • Great Question!!! Do you have anymore?!

  • What a wonderful message. Thank you!

  • I have the quote in my scriptures that he talks about in the very beginning!

  • I have it on my wall...

  • I used to have it in my signature for my email account. Awesome quote!

  • Wow! That is SO overpowering! I need to get on YouTube less and write in my journal or do my Personal Progress!!

  • Today - now!

  • The older you get the faster time passes and the more you wish you had better used your time in the past.

  • That was absolutely wonderful! It makes me so excited for conference! Brother Eyring has to be someone I ALWAYS look forward listening to, but yet again, I look forward to EVERYONE. :-D

  • One of my favourite videos ever! This is a great video with a great message, that will very much help me going into the future.

  • How blessed I feel to have this resource and to have true Apostles and a Prophet in my life!

  • Amen!

  • it is such a great message!! I love it ... it gives me strength to carry on....

  • I needed that as well.

  • I am very thankful for the beautiful message. I need to serve each day of my life .

  • amazing--I'm so excited for conference!

  • Thanks Mormon message

  • I found this, just when I needed it.

  • great video!!! great timing I needed it

  • I needed this today. I loved it.

  • This kinda puts our busy lives in a little better perspective! I love how our prophets can help us do that so well!

  • Truly beautiful and right when I need it the most!!!

  • I really like this message. I know I can do more this day to be and to become more like my Father in Heaven. I hope that I will not procrastinate to do those things which my Father in Heaven wants me to do--and to become what He wants me to become--here and now.

  • Now I stand up again. God answered my prayer. I am so thankful. Father they will be done.

Vater im Himmel, Dein Wille geschehe. Ich glaube und - bitte hilf meinem Glauben. Im Namen Jesu Christi. Amen.

  • It got me to think. I am so thankful for these messages...I really need them.

  • This video was made just for me. I am a huge procrastinator.

  • This was very timely for me. Thank you!

  • come on everyone.. lets choose today in our lifes...

  • i needed this!

  • You don't even need to be a Christian (as I am not) to understand the importance of these messages.

  • This is an amazing video. President Eyring is such a good speaker. Let us do things today and not procrastinate. I've experienced so much joy in my life by following this counsel.

    Thank you! =D

  • I really needed this video. Thank you!!!

  • great! i need to stop being lazy!!

  • I absolutely love this channel! Every time I watch it, I am always uplifted by it's message!

  • i just listened to this talk this morning while i had a break between classes. It's a powerful talk that always motivates me to make the most of today and stop putting things off until someday when it could be to late. It strengthened my testimony today that I need to do better after I come on and see this video clip on Mormon Messages.

  • one reason being a mormon rocks he is a leader of my church and i hear from him as he adresses all the mormons

  • This reminds me of a quote from The Music Man "You pile up enough tomorrows, and you'll find you are left with nothing but a lot of empty yesterdays."

    This is a lovely video.

  • haha I love the Music Man

  • just plain awesome

  • This is so true. I am still learning not to procrastinate; whether it be educational wise, financially, or spiritually. We need ot use the time God give us; we do not know when He will decide to bring us home.

    Great video. ^_^

  • This reminds me to do my homework. I love these messages. They are of true Christian doctrine.

  • Awesome clip. Keep up the great work.
