  • I don't know why but since I deleted a video response (which was an ad for porn) a few months ago the view calculator hasn't been increasing, despite however many hits I or my friends have made on this film... how do I get it to restart? anyone know?

  • this film is AWESOME x

  • Yes... hopefully it will be released sometime... can't wait!!!!

  • screening at Cardiff Soundtrack Festival on Saturday 29th November at cineworld, Mary Ann Street; tickets availabe at the box office.

  • New trailer on the website for the film at

    abrahamspoint

use the usual before & after bits, because I can't post the link here... it looks even better! Keep hoping for news of distribution!

  • The new trailer looks brilliant!!

  • Anyone have an idea of a release date yet?

  • OMG I love Mackenzie Crook! I hope this movie works out for him.

  • It's looking good! His performance is great in it!

  • You mean it's already out???!! You are sooo lucky! Curse me for being an American fan!

  • No I saw it in the editing suite; Still some post production tweaks then hopefully out in the autumn***

  • oh, thanks to quasievil_bunny for sharing on livejournal!

  • Check out the Joseph Millson site or Live Journal for more info on the Variety and Hollywood Reporter articles. Great news that it will be shown at LUFF!

  • I'm in this! yay im the lady trucker in the cafe

  • Ooh you lucky thing. Is that the scene with Joseph Millson and the spoon?

  • Yeah that's me! :)

  • Doesn't Joseph have nother film due for release also?

  • Yes he is also in Telstar and S.N.U.B (has a trailer on You Tube too!)and we just saw him on stage tonight! What a fantastic singing voice he has!

  • wow! must get to see him on stage sometime!

  • He will be in Hamlet at Stafford Castle in June / July . A few of us are going up...you should join us. He is not to be missed on stage, but bless he said in a website interview that Abraham's Point is the film he is most proud of...

  • Gosh! And I'd always thought of Wales as peaceful. Fantastic cinematography - action and location married in a way that grips you in the story at the same time as it anchors you in the locations. A must-see, I think.

  • Yes, definately a must see!! Can't wait myself!

  • JohnHardyMusic is on Youtube & website..

check it out to see composer for 'Abe'

  • website is up & running @

abrahamspoint usual before & after bits

  • Looks really great! Can't wait for the final film to be released.

  • blog about the film also on livejournal

  • Some of the scenes in this trailer I know where they were filmed, for example, the scen at 2:48 with the car driving off was filmed on the A48 between Langstone and Caerwent, South Wales. I saw it filming there (drove past) in October 2007. The Purple car pulls out of the Car park of the Ban-Mai (former Wentwood Innn) restaurant, and then carries on the up the road, the sign on the left is for the 5 lanes road, and the car carries on up to the rubbish dump on the left hand side.

  • More location information: Abraham's Point IS Rhossili in Gower, South Wales. The filming of the portion outside the Church towards the end of the trailer was filmed one Sunday morning last year out side our home in Rhossili. The view of the beach is the one that appeared in Britain's Best View 2007 with Catherine Jenkins; this is Rhossili Beach.

  • How are you involved with the production of this film?

  • You are too kind keeping us informed...very glad you have been able to see it!

  • Can't wait for more news!

  • LATSRN saw a preview the other day and said it was fabulous!

  • This looks really interesting. I like both lead actors. Joseph looks like he has a lot of *exposure* in this, though. Any idea when it will be released yet?

  • Waiting for official date; sometime this year though

  • Mackenzie always did look so, well, tired! xD

    But he's so cute. <3

I can't wait to see this film. 8D

  • Even at 35 - 36 years of age he's still adorkable.

  • I've downloaded this .. listen to the complete song it's great.

  • That will be a very interesting and good movie, I think! Mackenzie is awesome, but he always looks soo sleep-deprived! =( lol Poor guy!

  • Wow! This looks like a very interesting film. I always love "bad" boys and it looks like Joseph is very bad indeed.

  • sorry that should read unfoundsense who put it on livejournal.. apologise but glad it's getting watched. Abe is now on without the apostrophe thanks to kls010 also so there should be loads of hits one way or another!

  • Yep, credit to unfoundsense for finding this & posting at LJ! BTW - have now posted this link over at the Mackenzie Crook Fan Club forum over on MySpace. Trying my best to get this out there! :D

  • Isnt Joseph's other recent film Telstar premiering in Cannes too? We must make sure he is busy over there. I want to see lots of photos...

  • I believe so... yes it will be great to see more of him... though I think he had some exposure in this film clip!!!

  • looks really exciting...i love McKenzie

  • C'est juste pour faire plaisir...

  • this looks great!!!! very intriguing...

  • looks very interesting...intriguing.!!!!!!!!!!

  • looks like it will be great! Thanks kls for pointing it out to me.

  • Brilliant trailer. Huge fan of Joseph Millson. Thank you for sharing it online. I could add it without the apostrophe.

  • looks excellent, and the band Killing for Company shown in the background are awesome, saw them live last night, ..

  • Great! pass it on, trying to get exposure for everyone concerned! Stuart Cable's band too!

  • shall do, Greg the vocalist, has put it on a bulletin on myspace, that's where I got word of it, so the word is being spread around..x

  • Saw Killing for Company in Liberty stadium when they supported the Who.. great!

  • i think you should remove the apostrophe from abrahams point so people find it easier , i have to keep explaining to people. just for the sake of getting more and more hits.....? or have both on this youtube site

  • I uploaded it without the apostrophe should anyone do a search that way.

  • looks like an amazing film. i'm going to tell all i know to take a look at it. who's the other fella in the film?

  • Dont you recognise him ;) Joseph Millson is a very talented stage and screen actor. Brilliant at comedy. Great at skateboarding too... just hope he didnt catch a chill jumping in that water with no clothes on.

  • lol. it was so funny on the day i filmed, cause i recognised him (joseph), but thought he was someone i knew! har har. the shame! i was like, "havent we worked together before?" and he was quite polite about it, and said maybee, i'm not sure. lol i littrally died of shame, when half an hour later, I realised where i recognised him from (S.J.A...babbysitting. lol)

  • Thats very funny...but he is very kind so I bet he didnt giggle till later...

  • He's Joseph Millson, who was great in Sarah Jane Adventures and Talk To Me.

  • Oh yes he was brilliant in those. You must try and see him on stage too. Just fantastic.

  • JM has been a great Prince Charming in "Cinderella" lately... really knocked me off my feet. And such a gorgeous singing voice... I flew to London especially to see him. And it was really worth it! You should watch out for him!

  • You saw Cinderella too? It was fantastic wasn't it? So glad Joseph keeps having all this exposure right now...

  • The panto was great actually - due in no small part to Joseph's brilliant performance... would love to see him on stage again...

  • Me too..me too..*sighs* But on screen will just as wonderful!

  • It does look like an awesome film! And Joseph Millson is a very talented actor. He was really great in Sarah Jane Adventures and in Shakespeare Re-told. Can't wait for this movie!

  • I'm sorry... during what?

  • Cannes fill festival 2008... next spring

  • Ooohh does that mean we will get to see Joseph Millson on the red carpet in Cannes?

  • Quebec... gah, that's a bit far, but... hey, it's in my country anyways. Wouldn't mind if it's released in the US either... that border's closer.

  • Mackenzie starring in a movie!! Finally!! This makes me sooooooooo happy ^_^

is it coming out in the States? I really hope it does

  • I hope I get to see it too. I live in the U.S. and don't know if it will be released here. :/

  • Well if enough people add it to their facebook, livejournal,or other blog sites it may stand a chance! try sending the link to anyone you know.. thanks for your interest.

  • I can't wait to see this! I love Mackenzie!

  • HOPE this will be shown in Quebec... I WANT TO SEE THIS FILM!!!

  • If enough fans ask to se it I'm sure it will reach your shores, even if only on DVD

  • and where do we have to ask? i'm sure a lot of people would love to see the film here

  • Trying to get enough publicity for the film to be distributed is the main way, film magazines and You Tube interest may make the British distributors realise they have something here!!! I'm not in the buisness at all but know the writer and love Mckenzie in anything.

  • Well, one hope - they will show it in Russia.... But I think it's unreal(

  • Looking forward to this. Hope it shows in the US.
