Love Alberta.........I know space was limited for the bio but it's well worth mentioning her 1934 residency at London's Dorchester Hotel with the Jack Jackson Orch. Check out the 7 classic sides she recorded at this time..............my favourite "SOON".

Hi, as far as I'm aware the US public domain cut off date is still 1923 until 2018 or 2019 when later works are finally freed up. So this wouldn't technically be Public Domain. The performance isn't the issue, its the composition they're probably claiming copyright to, especially if it was renewed. This is all thanks to the Sonny Bono Copyright Extension act, which made everything protected another 20 years.
