Because it has soooo many things in common with the Simpsons' "Treehouse of horror 4" that it kept on striking me! The trial with the devil saying HE will choose the jury, the gallery of paintings, just like Bart hosting the show, the gremlin on the plane wing, just like the one trying to destroy the school bus... etc!
This episode of the Simpson was released in 93 - how about this Tiny Toons one?
@CapitaineGMC The similarities are there because they're both parodying the same material. The Gremlin and Devil skits are parodies of Twilight Zone episodes.
@TomQuoVadis I see - but it is funny they chose to put the three same references or parodies in the same single episode, though :) Cause it is even more obvious!
@CapitaineGMC Heh, I know. Those are the most parodied (because they're the most well known) Twilight Zone episodes. It is kind of funny that they chose the same ones, but I doubt they were trying to rip off the Simpsons.
