  • wow wikipedia! nice job jessica!!!

  • Well, since we took part in the Libyan conflict, we haven't been neutral for 200 years anymore, and if they're refering to WW2... I know another country that was and wanted to be neutral until about half through WW2, the country begins with an A and ends with merica.

  • Lol @ Americans.

  • Bill O'rielly is an old drunk freak. Sweden has been neutral for 200 years... He is a tard.

  • Words cannot describe how much I hate Jessica Alba.

  • Jessica Alba is alot more than beauty and hotness, she's extremely smart aswell, has well structured arguments and made O'Reilly look stupid without even trying. You could see the passion she has regarding the presidential election and that should be admired. You could actually debate with her. Bill O'Reilly on the otherhand is a lying imbecile. Well done Jessica, i'm very impressed. I want to be an actor and if i could be half as successful as you i'd be happy :) x

  • And as far as the neutral Switzerland is concerned. They made concession to the Germans too. Switzerland and Germany had a great deal of economic co-operation. So wake up people and realize that no country in Europe managed to fully stay out of the war. No one was in a position to openly defy Germany.

However... I think we can come to the conclusion that it is Alba who is the better educated one. O'Reilly clearly knows nothing about European history.

  • @marho233 swedes sold iron ore to the germans! you werent neutral!

    does that sound right? lol...

  • @Darusdei and switzerland kept hitlers money, so nobody is really "neutral" in your book

  • @Darusdei we also help the norwegians start a underground revolt and we sent most of our trops to denmark disguised as danish army so hitler would thought they had more trops then they really had. we had more then 8000 volunteers sent to finland. we allowed germans to use railway but not airspace, why shot down numeros of dutch airplane. neutrul means that you dont take any side, learn your history before you tell us stupid statements

  • @haxzoor19 i know sarcasm doesn't come across very well in text but...

sweden was neutral in ww2 like the swiss, that doesn't mean they didn't deal with bothsides.

"we send over 8000 to finland" you didn't send anyone, those were volunteers and they were coming whatever you like or not...

  • Sweden saved jews, provided the allies with information and iron ore as well. Swedish diplomats actively spyed on the Germans and the Swedes were very active in the liberation of Denmark. So yes, the Swedes did make concessions to the Germans, but they also were of big help to the allies.

  • Sweden wasn't neutral, they were non-belligerent.

Sweden didn't participate in armed combat, but they weren't neutral.

Although, O'Reilly doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about, I'm quite sure he didn't even know he was 1/4 right.

Although, Sweden is slowly breaking away from it's long held neutrality.

  • Ah, Bill O'Reilly. The man never, ever admits that he's wrong. I don't think his little show even has a fact checker on staff.

  • Acutally, one can say they are both right... but Bill has actually got an advantage: Sweden let the nazis move their troops by train through their country during WWII.. that's not really neutral..is it? ;-)

  • @CerebralTantrum they helped both sides

  • "that's not really neutral..is it? ;-)"

Technically it is. If they'd of refused to let them, it would of been taken as a sign of opposition by the Nazis, who would of crushed them. Neutrality in a war situation means neither opposing or helping any country. They let the Nazis through, but they refused to lend them any actual assistance.

  • @pamew Letting nazis move troops across your country to fight an adjacent country is imo helping out. Refusing is simply giving the reason of not to help any side in a conflict. Train wasn't the only option, you can get there using a boat also...just takes a little longer.

  • @CerebralTantrum Again, you're making the naive assumption that disallowing them access to their train tracks wouldn't result in their annihilation. Sweden also allowed access to allied troops, so no side was given an actual advantage. In the theatre of war, neutrality takes on a different meaning.

  • @pamew Really, do you think the Germans would have taken action for -that-? As I said, there is after all a second route. You do have a point that war calls for other priorities though, but I believe they should have used stronger diplomacy for the sake of staying neutral. I think the Germans would have accepted that.

However, the case of allied troops in Swedish territory is new to me, care to fill me in? You seem to be a real WWII-geek.. (no offense) ;-)

  • @CerebralTantrum "Really, do you think the Germans would have taken action for -that-?"

Ooohhh, do I think a fascist regime that didn't think twice about killing 6 million Jews and gypsies would of taken action against a country with barely any military power?

    Yes, yes I do.

  • @CerebralTantrum

He has no advantage. The Swiss had a great deal of financial co- operation with the nazis.

  • shes beautiful stupid

  • Sweden was neutral and we helped both side's

  • i love jessica for this answer

  • Jessica, you are the greatest! I love you! Sweden was so neutral during WWII and can be considered neutral still today...

O'Reilly is a dumbass motherfucker! I'm surprised he even knows a complicated word like switzerland.

  • @Elvikowsky

No, they can't. The coalition and the insurgency are two different sides in a conflict. YOU CAN'T SEND TROOPS THAT AID ONE SIDE AND BE CONSIDERED NEUTRAL!

  • Go Jessica! I love you!

  • well... Im not sure if sweden was neutral during WW2, we had soldiers in Finland and we we're practically nazis back then.

And right now we have soldiers in Afghanistan, i dunno if we're so neutral..

  • Yeah volunteers, the government did not send any soldiers to Finland.

"and we we're practically nazis back then."

    We most definitely were not.

"And right now we have soldiers in Afghanistan"

Soldiers can do a lot more than just fight wars, our soldiers are not in Afghanistan to fight a war but unfortunately insurgents sometimes attack them forcing our soldiers to fight. We are in Afghanistan to help rebuild the country and train the Afghan National Army.

  • the goverment didn't send any soldiers to Finland?

  • @jimmyn89SWE

That alone violates the policy of neutrality.

  • Well maybe so but there is more than one type of neutrality.

Austria for example is a permanent neutral state, they have declared themselves permanently neutral in their constitution. Sweden on the other hand has never declared itself permanently neutral.

  • @jimmyn89SWE

Which makes Jessica Alba's statement incorrect.

  • It´s a well armed neutrality...btw wy dont´t look at a map for instance...

  • Jessica Alba is attention seeking whore

  • you can suck it O`Reilly, you closed minded prick!!

  • Idk about Jessica Alba. It's fine if she doesn't care for O Reilly but she really didn't have to be such a bitch. She's not a great actress and if it wasn't for her great looks well...who knows. So what do you watch Jessica Alba, msnbc????

  • The two biggest bags of wind getting into an argument ...nice neither one of them knows what the fuck they are talking about.

  • oooh, that's clever, did you find that stunning line by yourself?

  • A little bit too neutral in some ways.

the new islamic republic of Europe.

  • a mediamonster gets owned by a hollywood lolita

  • well i don't think she said sweden because it was a "neutral" country during ww2, come on, it's something english speaking people do on a regular basis, switzerland and sweden sounds basically the same to them. when i was checking in at liverpool airport i handed the sheet (non EU-citizens have to fill this in) to the guy at the duty along with my swiss passport. referring to the sheet i asked "do you need this?" "no, it's ok, you're swedish!" :o

  • Sweden HAD to sell weapons to BOTH sides to be considered neutral. If they had only sold to the allies they would not have been neutral.

If they had chosen not sell iron to Germany they would have invaded and taken it. Look at Norway who where invaded and thus gave Germany heavy water.

You question Sweden's involvement. It was never Sweden's war. USA could have sent every man woman and child to Europe during the war, that would have saved a lot of ppl, but they didn't, they had no reason.

  • It is also worth to mention that the trade with Germany was vital to Sweden, without German coal Sweden would hardly have been able to function as a nation.

The Swedish industry would have stood still without coal and a very large part of the population used coal to heat their homes

  • De lär ju behövt vår järnmalm.

  • Swedenis officialy a neutrual country but they still sell woepons to countries at war and yes ofcourse..ww2. Norway is still pist about that

  • bill o reilly is the stupid one! haha

  • Sweden is famous for its neutrality, yeah right, read all off the history about sweden and its involvment in ww2

    before commenting you inbreed f-ck

  • @MosheSharett Uhh,,,I'm a huge fan of O'Reilly but Alba's right. Sweden was neutral.

  • The expression is "Be Switzerland about it" not "Sweden about it". That doesn't mean Switzerland is the only neutral country. She obviously meant to use the expression "Be Switzerland" but made a mistake and she is trying to correct it. I bet you she was all over the internet to google "neutral countries" to dispute her "critics" lol

  • Sweden is famous for its neutrality, bill o'reilly is so laughable

  • Sweden was a neutral country and wasnt the only neutral country... so Jessica was right

  • BillO is so fuckin awesome. Best journalist ever.

  • BILL OREILLY RULES OH YEAH

  • Jessica Alba is hot. She wins.

  • But Sweden is neutral too (WW2 someone?).... So in a way she was right.

  • ahehehee ok..did she say wikipedia?aheehehe.jessie jessie.aheheehehe.

  • Look at wikipedia to find out? LOL yeah because we all know wikipedia is accurate

  • wikipedia is accurate.

  • thats a joke right?? :P

  • Well if you want something else than Wiki, you can check out the website of the swedish government. Sweden is a neutral country and has been so for 200 years. I am swedish. I know.

  • Sweden is neutral too. They're not in NATO, and did not participate during WWII. Bill O'Reilly is ignorant. He's been beaten by a "pinhead" from Hollywood.

  • one sexy pinhead

  • @Onnarashi

In fact Sweden hasn't been to war for more than 200 years.

  • Jessica's a babe
