@TheMelonColony simply a different style. depending on his bodytype this posture is more sound than the orthodox one, my teacher also taught me a very different stance from this one. still, his structure is correct, it is just a matter of practicality. you need to be relaxed while doing this, you know. so standing in a - for your body - unusual way would be counterproductive.
sigh, I am tired of watching this idiot so called master. Who made him a master anyways....I guess those fat students of his. Well, I'll go see a REAL wudang school now.
Very, very nice. There are slight differences between this and mine, the forward lean is not present in my san ti, and the angle of the feet is slightly different. The toes of the front foot and the heel of the rear foot are on the same line in both methods still. Also, my front elbow is deeply sunken, and the posture is deeper. The instructor possesses tremendous knowledge and skill. Very nice video.

His posture is weighted on his front foot...that's not the way I was instructed..elbows are not down and fingers are not aligned enough....need I say more. Not good.

Question: Why is the student leaning forward so far? No criticizing, just when I usually see San Ti it seems more straight backed.
