I'm really liking the Amazon App Store and I've gotten some really great freebies. I also contacted their Customer Service about an issue, and they were very quick to respond. I also use AppBrain quite a bit, which is also great.

Need a better description on why it dosnt work on AT&T, its not because of Amazon is doing, its because AT&T dosnt let android phones Sideload (install non-market apps). You can get around this but I would do research next time on why instead of saying rather not just say. It also dosnt work for people out of the US right now either.

Android sucks for apps. I can't wait to switch to the iPhone in December from my Droid. I was hoping the Amazon appstore would make me want to stick with android but it didn't. Android needs BETTER apps. It's not the store.

@goofeewalden1 It all depends on what you are downloading. For example, ios has a lot of restrictions for developers. When I was developing Bully Block, the ios does not allow any type of filtering or monitoring of sms content. The have a patent for a future app with this feature and are saving all the money for themselves. If you are a gamer, then you might be right. But for utilities and lifestyle apps, Android is better

@BullyBlockApp Yeah that's what I'm mostly applying it to. I can see Android being better that way with it being so open. I just wish Android could pick up developer support. It's getting there but slowly. I wouldn't mind sticking with Android but the lack of apps for me is making it so I only use about 0.5gb of data a month.
