the drift was awful in Demo, When I bought a full game, the drift is now a lot improved!

You gotta master the drifting to truly own this game =P You drove like I did at first, those boosts are critical to get the edge (which you get from drifting). Be sure to drift wherever and whenever possible =) Otherwise; great vid =D pumped for this game!

Yeah drifting was proving to be a bugger when first playing it so for the purpose of the vid (only 3rd time playing!) I concentrated on staying on the track and not coming last!

i understand what he means, i dont suk at any game either, anyone can play a game but being very competitive with every game is something i wont claim. i dont suk at puzzle games but no matter how hard i try i will never beat my mom at 'bust-a-move' or almost any puzzle game she gets her hands on.. thats life, just cus a person doesn't suk does not mean they are awesome.

No camera involved, capture card that records from a direct HDMI source.

I dont want to get into an argument over games but how can you say mario kart is crap?, theres been a few average mario kart games, like the wii and gamecube version but mario kart on snes, gameboy advance, N64 and DS were incredible games

kario cart (SNES) and mario cart DS are the best ones, the others are down to preference, if this game manages to rip off MK perfectly then that is a great achievement and i look forward to buying this.

Dude, dont bother, i just downloaded the demo and it fucking SUCKS LOL. Its looks good but its buggy as hell, its got so much slow down and the jumps are dumb, its like youll be driving relatively slow off a ramp and youll stay in the air for ages as if you were doing 900mph before you hit the ramp. Its an average game, no mario kart

ill download the demo tomorrow and try it out, but keep in mind, its a demo. the release will have the problems ironed out im sure, but even if its decent.. thats good enough for me, i luv my kart games!!!!.

@chuckie32598 Firstly i dont suck at any game, and secondly ive played so many gamesin my life that i can tell whether a game is good or not within the first 8 or so minutes of playing it, obviously games like RPGs may take hours to learn if there good or not, but 5 minutes with sonic racing was more than enough. It just didnt feel right and the slow down was a huge put off

By the looks of it this game takes FAR more skill than MK Wii. I mean you did nothing wrong, you never fell, you only ever got hit by an attack once yet you came 4th. Drifting and boosting really do have a large effect. In MK Wii a lot of it is really down to "I hope a Blue Shell/Stormcloud doesn't come out of the blue and hit me".
