Have to hand it to the animators, this artwork is much more faithful to the graphic novel. I don't mind the films but Motoko looks better in the game and the manga.

GITS is perhaps the only movie I know of to translate well into game form. This, and StandAloneComplex were fantastic games, and brought new material for anime fans. I'm looking foward to the next installment, for the Playstation3.

Although...there was an episode in GITS where she did show some sort of sexual side...was kinda creepy really, lol.

Wake up folks, Motoko has never expirienced a puberty, her sexuality is infantile. She has absolutely no sense for outfit norms, dressing herself like some slut. No, she doesn't hide her emotions, she hides the fact that deep inside her is a huge black hole...Like most former orphants she is paranoid, shizoid and antisocial. Being heavily bullied in her childhood, she still can't trust anyone in her late 30s(or 40s?).Yes, psychology knows how superhumans come up,upps,I wanted to say cripples.
If you have a problem with her provocative clothing, blame Masamune Shirow (the animator and creator of GiTS). He's famous for making pin up poster girls and has a (ridicuolus amount of) crotch shots and ecchi content. Their isn't a problem with Motoko herself. She only dresses that way because of the author.
@FumitoUedaFan Like hinted in the show, the character of The Major was supposed to be male, but Shirow didn't want to draw a naked man, so he changed the character to female.
lol, yeah...the Fuchikoma's are pretty cute. IMO, a lot cutier than Tachikoma's. By my understanding, the Tachikoma's were actually the for-runners to Fuchikoma's. ^^
@AnubisLG not if you account that the series takes place in a seperate universe to the original Manga, and the Film is seperate to both the manga and series.
