L1011 the best MD 11 very good aircraft DC 10 beautiful air craft .over all all aircrafts are fantastic .they give us ability to fly.

@AtsoftcoT Yes they are all great! But I do however prefer the L-1011 to the DC-10 and MD-11 just due to its S-Duct engine which looks fantastic!

MD-11 is nice.... yeah...

but i used to fly in l1011s all the time. they were awesome!!!!!!!!! we got there SUPER fast when it was a flight from toronto to heathrow ( air canada ). the md-11 i like it for the look. L-1011 for me!

Not the same generation. The *VS* means little. Both are beauties though. And of course there's always the DC10s which are handsome too.

Flew them all the time as a kid (Eastern, TWA, Pan Am). Last time was to Hawaii in 1991 on ATA.

L1011 should win because of its great design, very quality tech spec and good safety record. Compare to MD-11 that just look like its ancestor DC-10.

L1011 just because its such an iconic classic in my books. So rare! Although i like the MD11 also.

I love the L1011 because its such an intresting design yet i love the MD11 because it was the last ever Tri-holer ever to be built.
