Back in the 70s and early 80s, the One-Design Windsurfing culture was a blast! I loved seeing brand new rigs with bright colorful sails at the regattas. We all felt like we were doing something very cutting edge. I'm glad my Dad bought me my first Windsurfer when I was 14.

Before windsurfing became high performance. It was more open to the masses back then. 300liter board, 5.0 sail. Anyone could get one one and have a great day.

I started windsurfing, after living half my life in California, in Denmark the year of 1978. I had my own windsurfing business selling the original Windsurfer - and damn we had a lot of fun all over Denmark at races and the beach!! Good memories and now back in California (last 21 years) and still surfing!!
