  • Sound like a kid plays with his dad's toy. For your info, your dad made good choice, I have the same for 8 years and still as reliable as your refrigerator.

  • @vaneztax this was only a rental just sayin

  • I have never seen a newer Rav with a manual

  • why was the sorento's engine on at the end of the video?

  • @uakronsam116 i fucked up thats y

  • My father owns one rav4 in manual. Basically 95% of the cars here are manual. How big is this rav's engine?? If you live in america i bet is a big one. Ours is 2Liters Gasoline. (not petrol)

  • @Krotidas i dont remember cause this was a rental and a while ago i think it was something in the 2 liter range

  • @Bartman1764 2.4

  • @Krotidas before 2010 2.4, after 2010 2.5. Not to big.

  • @Krotidas it was a rental we couldnt choose plus my dad doesnt like manual for some reason

  • Yeah as soon as you started it I realized that was not the V6. The V6 motor sounds so sweet...it's a steady low grumble. The I4 sounds like it's thrashing around in comparison.

  • Nope...that Toyota's new generation of AR 4 bangers.

    There are 3 types:

-2.5 L 169hp found in the Camry CE, LE and XLE

-2.5 L 179hp found in the Camry SE and RAV4

-2.7 L 182hp found in the Venza, Highlander and up coming '011 Sienna

This most certainly is not the 268hp 3.5L 2GR V6.

  • Am not a douche bag but automatic gearboxes suck = /

And another bad thing is that this Toyota Rav4 has no low gear.

  • @Znitso My V6 will spin the tires from a stop at quarter throttle. I don't know how much lower of a gear you'd want. It's not meant for pulling a tank out of a ditch, it's a light SUV.

  • No, no, no ofcourse it's not gonna pull out a tank, i didn't mean that but. It has an original gearbox that you can find in almost any car. You know what i mean don't you?

Anyway, i've looked at some more Rav4 videos here on Youtube and i 'gotta tell you that i think am starting to like them. They look kinda...slick? Hope you didn't get offended or so in anyway, if you own a Rav4.

  • Very true, auto boxes are good when in city traffic but not good if you want speed there and then, unless you own a 3l job

  • @vonchappell Ah finally someone that understands me, thank you!

And i agree with you about automatic gearbox while driving in cities, that's fine.

  • @Znitso more than welcome

  • @vonchappell Thank you, sir.

  • @vonchappell Or just get a car with Triptronic (however you spell it).. best of both worlds haha.. even though theres no clutch

  • @mxkickyo8u77 we can only dream

  • just to let everyone kno this thing had alot of torque my dad accelerated a little bit and it nearly did a burnout it was a cool vehicle

  • why sounds so nasty??

  • its a v4 as every tells me and it doesnt sound nasty when u rev it it sounds better just up close

  • @Bartman1764 It's an in-line 4, not a V4.

  • my mistake

  • That's Toyota's new 2.5 liter 4 cylinder

  • Not to nit-pick, but that's the 4 cylinder model.

  • ya well its a rental so you cant really choose.

  • toyotas sound great for the first 6 months then the belts squeel like.... there is no way i can explain the noise buts it awful, also toyotas are known for noises

  • to easy.

  • All the newest toyota cars the cold star is bery loudly. I have a corolla 2005 when the car is on on cold start the car is on 2,000 rpm an then go down.I have teh same question after i buy my corolla.
