Scott sadly took his own life yesterday evening. What the people who are commenting on here don't know is that Scott suffered with Bipolar disorder. In his short years on earth he accomplished more than most could hope for in his whole life. He was a beautiful pianist, magician, writer, and yes, a competitive eater. He will be missed by many..thank you for the impact you've had on our lives Scott. RIP <3

@javamaster99 this kid was well known back in our town, and sadly he took his life tonight. not that you would understand, but his drive and determination for what he set his mind to, in this certain instance eating, has inspired people to not give a shit about what people, like yourself, think.

@TheCloudTracks Yes he did; but it was due to his not treating his mental disorder and being delusional as well. It didn't help that the media here in Cleveland bought into this kids delusions and gave him attention...when in reality he needed alot of medication and therapy.
