I remember the satire of this movie in MAD magazine:"The Wild 1/2, starring Marlon Branflakes".

In one frame, instead of "B.R.M.C." (for Black Rebels Motorcycle Club), a black leather jacket read, "B.B.O.P." (Bee Bop).

Yes Brando was riding a Triumph but if you look at Marvin and his club they are riding Harleys and Indians. I should know I'm a member of BFMC. Read The Original Wild Ones by Bill Hayes.

Believe it or not Brando was riding A Triumph MC... Harleys were not at Hollister, The British bikes were cheaper. About this time tho The Vincent Black Lightning turned a 153 mph lap at Bonneville.. Harleys could barely pull a sick whore off her bed in 1953!
