@NASCAR48Fan1 They stopped after 1989 because the track became so rough and bumpy that it was too dangerous for the Indy Cars to race there at 220+ MPH
@fueldragster Pocono's Management is currently renovating the Pit lane and resurface the racetrack itself. It's currently in dirt and soon to be fully resurfaced and repaved.
If possible this will put the Indycar on the radar because right now next year Indycar they are running short of ovals at the moment for 2012 and they'll have new cars supposedly faster than the current 2003-2011 cars.
