Just wondering if you use the gain channel on the two rock? If not would you recomend the studio 35 which is essentialy a jet with no dirt channel. Its cheaper. I cant decide which one to get.

Hey Greg, a question about your Two Rock; how do find the low end? I know it can't compare to something with a larger cabinet but is the low end adequate?

@BearelyMusic The small cab doesnt have the same bass resonance as a larger one but believe it or not i find the balance of the small Jet to be just fine for small to medium size venues. I have the tone controls almost all even and it sits perfectly.

What settings should i use on my strat,blues junior and pedals:blues driver and ts9 to get the tone you get at start when you still talking. I know it wont be exactly the same but could you point me in the direction.

@dkfone Hey thanks so much! With your current set-up its hard to say... you have two options... either turn the amp all the way up.... or 3/4ths the way up and then put the tube screamer on with the gain 3/4 turn to full and the level 1/3rd up and the tone dead center... try that out! You can't....you need to get a D style amp to get this tone. either a two rock, ceriatone, or a real dumble...

Awesome Greg!!! Which strat are you playin? 60 CS NOS? I've come to the conclusion think the Two Rocks are best when miked in. When just crankin with a loud band my CSR won't keep up. What pedal do you kick in on that 1st solo? Nice work man!

@dparel Thanks! Yes im playing the 60s CS Closet classic. Its my "number one." Two Rock is officially the only amp for me now. This was mixed int he board but i have been able to cut through before with it... such a great amp. Pedal-wise... i can't remember the order exactly but i know that at some point i think i had everything on. (HBE Power screamer, Zendrive, and TS9.)

Thanks! I havent yet sold the vibroverb... the two rock is in my opinion a nicer sounding amp for what im going for right now...its also way more gig friendly than the vibroverb.

Thanks! Ok... pedals... used at different times are a Zendrive, Ibanez TS9, and HBE power screamer. Jet settings are pretty much all even with treb just a touch higher than the rest.

Cool playing and great vibrato! The Two-rock sound awesome, but it sounds like its screaming for a bigger cabinet. And not that I should give advice as I suck, but at the climax point where you stepped on the boost pedal, I was kind of expecting something more. The whole band was increasing in intensity, but the soloing didn't really change any at all, accept a bit of gain boost. I think you should have saved up something special for that moment and should have gone a little crazy. My two cents.
