Excuse me but you enjoy television right? Who do you think write the shows you watch? The movies? Actors who play the characters and directors who shoot it get lots of money and recognition but where is the writers fat check and recognition? HUH? Most writers don't get anywhere near the same respect as the people playing the characters they created. Its wrong. You think writers make alot Ha. Thats a good one. Some actors make millions of dollars each season of a show but its writers don't.

I'd love all of these writer/producers to show us their houses and income tax statements. They strike because they can afford to. Working crews can't! This strike is causing real financial hardship. WGA demands to expand into reality shows are never going to happen. Why would the producers going to give the WGA all the power for the NEXT strike?

It's not about you watching free stuff on the internet. We still watch abc, nbc, cbs for free. But the networks make money anyway from advertisers. You only pay if you want cable channels. This strike is not about taking money out of your pocket. It's about advertising dollars spent on web sites that have streaming video and downloads.

Actually, the people taking to the streets is the reason why new shows aren't being made. That is the purpose of the strike, people aren't working to make new shows and we end up with reruns. No big deal, in fact I say let the reruns play, I have a ton of shows I need to catch up on.
