It's gotten to the point where citizen / consumers can't trust the information they're being fed by the so-called experts to be data based on facts or propagandized bullshit. Corporations & their agents in government have bamboozled the masses into accepting higher & higher taxes for fewer public services & programs replaced with privatized versions which are subsidized with taxpayer dollars yet still allowed to charge every increasing fees for services we've already paid for with taxes!

Old-fogeys - like me - who get their news from commercial, off-air broadcast (non-cable) teevee, vs. anything else... are watching - semi-consciously, and emotionally processing whatever they see there: Entertainment, bad news, and commercials.

It's where advertisers want them... and it's where skilled propagandists can sway them. "Lewin Group" means nothing to them; they won't be told by their local newsies; and they'll consciously remember what they saw for a few seconds at most.
