I was 15 when i first saw this video in 1980. I remember I was scared by the dummies, well I thought they were dummies....Reminds me those ones in the 1964 classic hooror movie "The Night Walker", you know, the creepy wedding scene at the church at night with Barbara Stanwick, brrrr.....Oh by the way, great clip though the song is roughly edited....

In 1979 I was 8 when I saw this video and it gave me the creeps as well. Although now it is so obvious that the dummies are men with a mask, back then, I thought they were living dolls, who could show up from your nightmare into your bedroom to torture you. But anyway, Godley and Creme were way ahead with their videos.

Hey I was 8 in 79 also! I wasn't as traumatised by this video though lol! I think it I first saw it in '80. Huge slice of nostalgia now. Today is the first I have seen it for AT LEAST 20 years, maybe more. I loved it when I was a kid, and I was fascinated by those mannequins. I love your description of them better somehow.
