So your saying not to vaccinate because herd immunity will protect your son.. Well that only works until people start taking your advice and then hardly anybody has immunity, so the disease makes a comeback. Or until its brought in from overseas.
Very informative series, for an audience who lives mostly in the US or Canada. Unfortunately as an American living in south america, I'm in that part of the story where you'd say "... If we travel internationally..."
If we don't vaccinate our children, the number of cases reported will go up. All of these vaccines were created and administered for a reason. I spent a lot of time in the hospital as a child and I would rather get my baby vaccinated than watch him or her get really sick from something I could have helped prevent.
The reason why it's rare in occurrence is because we vaccinate. I would love to hear your comments and opinions on the recent measles outbreaks happening around the country.
What about peoople traveling to our country and bringing the disease to us? I feel if too many people stop vaccinating, the diseases can experience a comeback and end up claiming lives like they used to back years ago
I really like your show, but in a lot of your vaccination video's I noticed that you would reconsider the vaccination if you chose to travel in the future. My question is: is there a time frame in which you can no longer get the vaccine? What if you don't travel while Griffin in living with you, but when he moves out he decides to travel? Let me know what your take is.
Remember kids, viruses are part of the natural world too!

I'm afraid of the same thing TheLadyShred is. Herd immunity is going to disappear

But how could you be sure to "catch" it in time? If it presents as the common cold, will you just treat every common cold as super serious?
