He was sticking to his heel gimmick and we had a shouting match, he was telling me how he was going to beat Bret that night. I was about 10-11 years old at the time and I hated him so much.

I had the pleasure of meeting Owen on the morning of Wrestlemania 10, before his big match with Bret that night. He was sticking to his heel gimmick and we had a shouting match, he was telling me how he was going to beat Bret that night. I was about 10-11 years old at the time and I hated him so much.
I wish he was still alive, I wish this accident never happened. R.I.P. Owen - you are missed and I thank you for the memories.

On a LiveWire in 1999, a caller asked Kevin Kelly a question about how will Owen be remembered, and I remember Kelly saying that Owens legacy will be remembered and he will one day no doubt be inducted in the WWF Hall of Fame. It looks like that is never going to happen. Here we are 9 years later, and the WWF have never at least released a video/DVD on the life and career of Owen Hart! Pathetic how quickly the WWE tries to forget about its past! Yet the WWE releases a DVD about the Warrior!

I would think the reason that he isn't in the hall of fame is because of Martha. Not saying that Martha is a bad person by any means, but I think that it would be distasteful to Martha if anything is put out with Owen's name on it to profit besides compilation sets.

That probably is the Undertaker who you are referring to. Regardless of whether that man is really him or not, Taker was present during the 10 bell salute, it has been reported numerous times that Taker was standing as far back to the rear as possible to remain in character/kayfabe.

i was watching this on ppv when i was 12.. i had watched bret and owen as they were my favorite wrestlers and i didnt know how to take it.. it was a sad time for me being just a kid and hearing about the sudden death of one of my idols.. r.i.p owen hart
