She's more hip hop than popping. She doesn't hit, she rides beats more than anything. No isolations either. I've seen her pop and it's good. I guess she's just preparing to be a stage artist.

if you type in "Little Winners - Lee Min Young, Kim Hyo Yun (rehearsal)" into the search box on youtube, a video of Min and Hyo Yeon's rehearsal back when they were 10-11 or so will appear. they used to go to a dance school together for some competition. they were poppers. anyway, after this JYP took Min under his wing and SM Entertainment took Hyo Yeon. They were never a group. JYP sent Min to the US at a young age to start her training, and that's when Lil Jon wanted to collab.

Both are good in my opinion. HyoYun is still doing the dancing style that you see footage of in HyoYun and Min's video when they were kids. To me, that style is a lot harder because you need much control over your body. I'm not saying hip hop dancing is easy, because I do it too, but it's a lot less common.

Anyway, Min used to pop more when she was younger... Id ont see her do it as much anymore. HyoYun from SNSD still does though. Itd be nice to see her do some more of pop and locking again.
