I realise you can get midii to usb cables selling from £3 to £60 - (UX16) whats the catch here?? also heard about a latency problem... ive got to hook up a yamaha np30 to a windows 7 pc, anyone???

Hi I have the key board, computer, driver and cable. But when I turn on the key board my computer says new hardware found, but the wizard does not come on. The computer just does an auto thing and tells me it is hooked up and ready to go. When I try to run the set up it gives me error 25001, no device is connected, connect device and try again. Any ideas about what I should do? kellylane

I have a YPG-535.  The wizard does not come up. I went to the control panel add hardware and installed three softwares for the yamaha. I still cannot get any programs to detect the keyboard. I can't do anything.

I hit yes this instead of no this time And I disconnected it and now I connect it again and the computer doesnt find and show that found new hardware wizard can someone please help is there some way I can restart this?

I have a Yamaha PSR e 423 , and it has a usb cable to pc...... no pen drive slot!!!!

I connected the USB to my PC , installed driver , and opened MUSICSOFT DOWNLOADER to transfer files, but i am not able to move songs!!!! or anything to my keyboard

With Korg it is very easy. Just buy basic USB-cable, plug it in. Then download drivers for this. Install them. AND remember run install program from Programs folder. Easy. Then you can use keyboard/synth as VST-instrument/MIDI-keyboard

hi, i hae a problem... i have a Yamaha YDP 141 digital piano and i am trying to connect it to my laptop but it dosnt work, i dont have the cable your advertising but i have a usb to midi cable, also can i just ask is the instillation important i am not sure but is it what makes the instrument sync with the pc? but anyway i connect it up and nothing happens except it ses theres a new hardware connected, but does not come up with the wizard? i tried to download the software but came up with a eror

I downloaded the driver and found it in the control panel but here is what is said "device 0" when i press send all note on my yamaha DGX-505 played a note. so how do i get it to reconize my piano? yamaha usb-midi driver for windows2000/xp version 2.1.7 & no program showed up on my start menu to control the program my computer xp home edition
