If you played the beta u would of known what is was going to be like , gridlock , hotel , checkout , trenches , rustlung all close combat maps and all the rest have areas were to use gnashers , because of the SOS the maps were made open so you can use a rifle to combat it , if they made the maps more close quarters then it would be SOS everywhere and you would prob bitch about that ,

Its all about sitting back with rifles and knowing when to move. Before it was just go out and do what you want pretty much, so more enjoyable. Epic changed the game so much that people barely play it anymore. Everyone camps with rifles, you can't rush successfully anymore. Yes, its a cover based game, but Gears of War was about using that cover in close combat.
