One thing that I love about this is the absolute fantasy and magnitude of the lightshow and the music itself...such a big production.... and the band members are just dressed in jeans and a t shirt, like any other day...like they're just walking outside their house to get the mail or something. lol and then they just happen to pick up a guitar and play the most amazing rock concert in the history of mankind

David used Doppola rotating speakers that were custom built for the tour by his guitar mechanic Phil Taylor and Paul Leader. The original rotating speaker PF used in Dark Side of the Moon and later was a Leslie.

I have been searching for a HIGH quality DVD of Delicate Sound of Thunder.... does anyone know if such a thing exixts?

The LD and DVD's are from the original VHS tape. Pink Floyd never did a remaster of the original film to DVD of this concert. Mainly because they felt that Pulse accomplished that. I have been "fixing up" the dvd I have for lighting and contrast to try to clear it up, works to some degree but has to be adjusted from segment to segment.
