  • Don Dokken produced this album, which would explain the Dokken influence in their sound.

  • :13

  • one of the greatest most talented bands ever!

  • youve owe it so much to david lee roth, robert plant , david coverdale and so on!!

  • this is Dokken on roids, luv dokken great guitars,, they dont have anything like this anymore

  • were have you been,,if you have never hear XYZ,,damn it

  • "You Don't Work, You Don't Eat"

  • good sound, good musicians, weak vocal Melody. The chorus, "Inside Out" is just lame...

  • @SuperfedzPal ---I never even heard of this band....

  • this song is double stop heaven

  • I used to have this song on a compilation tape called Ocean Pacific Waves of Rock that I got for buying two OP shirts from Lamonts.

  • @BradTheProducer Thats just awesome. Are you the same brad from the Buzz?

  • You have a very cool channel. I also have an SG, but I play my Les Paul mainly. I too love music of the 80's as well as 70s and 90s. The music today does nothing for me.

  • chicks, booze and xyz!!! thats life!!

  • omg taio cruz sooooo copied this video when he made 'dynamite'!

  • another hairband classic

  • Simpleman you can say that again..I think the entire record industry is full of sh$t...

These guys were some of the hardest rockin fkrs out there...there isnt one tune they put out that doesnt have enough edge or talent to make the radio....PERIOD....come on man wtf is wrong with people not goin out and promotin a comeback of this stuff...unreal to me.!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Damn i discovered this awsome band 20 to late =)

  • muito FODA essa musica =D

  • @HardRock2125 eh nois véio

    XYZ na veia

  • XYZ & TNT should open for Y&T and do an "3 letter UNSUNG & UNDERRATED HEROES OF METAL" Tour.

  • @Broughmo hell ya Y&T kick major ass

  • This band fucking ROCKS!!!

  • Heard it the most on Dee Snider's House of Hair. Remember that show!??

  • i meet this guys back in late 89 as a baby terry ilous held me i got a picture of it at some record company in ohio

  • thats it! the "Dokken " yeah these guys were produced by Don....def got that sound. I got on the tour bus wi my stripper roomie after the show at Backstage Club in Houston , the "inside out" tour, and they look as impressive up close as afar.. Cool but weird being butt up to them in an RV-like setting....heheheheh

  • was bob pieper playing guitar in this song?

  • Plant???? Are you serious???? This totally has the feel and influence of Don Dokken. Even though Geroge Lynch had nothing to do with XYZ you could say the guitar playing has his style and influence.

  • @tg4752

and why do you think, wears mr. dokken even the same clother as robert plant does? each of those singers, from coverdale to sammy hagar, they´re all very influenced by the best! long live the hammer of the gods!

  • PLANT???? This is totally influenced by the style of Don Dokken. Even though he had nothing to do with it, the guitar playing is very close to that of George Lynch.

  • Hmmm, a little Robert Plant influence with the lyrics? Nuthin' wrong with that!

  • this video encapsulates everything that was wrong with hair metal!!!...great guitar playing though

  • XYZ has a new official website. Check it!

    officialxyzDOTcom

  • What rock is all about

  • This song Rocks so fucking bad! To this day I use it as a standard de-facto example of the most sexy guitar shit ever produced.

  • I heard that Don Dokken was XYZ's producer on their first album, and I can kinda see a little bit of Dokken in this song because it sounds a bit like the Song "Sleepless Night" which was on Dokken's Back For the Attack Album, but "Inside out" is a great song never the less, and XYZ is a criminally underrated band.

  • badass!!

  • 0:44 two hot chicks erecting a large pole. Nothing suggestive there heh... Great rockin tune.

  • xyz was formed in the early 80s in france

with terry and pat. 1st ep was released

    1983 in france (selfmade)

bonus on europe version of take what

    you can - live

  • just wondering if you can notice the sound on this album and if you say Dokken well you are correct this album (and correct me if I am wrong) was produced by Don Dokken. this band was so underated they dont make music like this anymore

  • when did terry join the band? or wuz he just workin 4 the record label? (i seen him in a concert w/ a band called Monsters of Rock, which was awesome, btw, & it said he wuz either in or had sumpthin 2 do w/ this band, so i wuz just wonderin)

  • those guys look really sexy when they're walkin, btw. ;)
