Some lesbian movies are horrendous, this is true, however I do love Imagine Me And You, its just so sweet and funny and better than a great deal of straight romcoms. But to be honest i generally think books tend to be better than films anyway, although I would say that for nearly anything, not just lesbian movies.
Listening to you talk about how cleaning is difficult for you reminded me of the book if you give a mouse a cookie and if you give a moose a muffin. Smart thinking with the change of pace for your vid this week.
@MADPUPPETDETH Aha, I see :L Its just a bit hard to identify jokes in type. I've read Affinity but didn't really enjoy it a great deal, Fingersmith is definitely my favourite Sarah Water's book :) And i love the film, partly but not purely because it has Elaine Cassidy in it.
@BobigailE I'm like that in real life too, though. :( My jokes really don't work well. I loved Affinity because it's really twisted and I hated the ending. I never knew what to expect as I kept reading, so it's instant love. Elaine Cassidy is awesome. I'm a Sally Hawkins fan, too, though. Since you love Cassidy, have you seen Harper's Island (TV series.) Highly recommend! It's on DVD. :)
@MADPUPPETDETH Funnily enough, I just watched the entire series recently... it's fantastic! It was so twisted... it was brilliant. I'm not used to watching things with quite so much gore in them but the mystery of it all was so well written! The last couple of episode really took me by surprise.
And really, i'm sure your humour does work, I love the irony of calling Fingersmith a chick flick :L
@BobigailE Sweet! Yes, it was so good, especially for a one-off tv series. I enjoyed the gore! Made it a bit juicier! I felt when it got to the last 3 episodes though, I just wanted to punch something. I didn't really think it was gonna go that way, then it didn't, then it did. I watched the whole freakin thing in one sitting though. I had to find out, it was just that good and suspenseful. I also enjoyed ALL the characters!
Hah. I'm ironic and you're a huge muffin? What IS that?!! UK slang?
i get "normal" as behavior which does not involve gender and sexuality at all.Because being gay,for example ,can be seen in nature,in people and animals and although it's not as widespread as heterosexuality it is not something which doesn't exist. At least I accept it as normal but it's a matter of view.To me normal is all in your attitude to others and that involves upbringing.I've known many gay couples and people who live a normal life they are kind.sexuality is just a little part of them.
Have you seen Loving Annabelle? I was impressed with that storyline-something that has "been done" but a nice spin on it. Anyway, I loved your spastic video!
The only lesbian movie I've ever seen is "Kissing Jessica Stein." At least, I think it's a lesbian movie, although it's not completely about lesbians. Anyway, I count it as the only lesbian movie I've ever seen. LOL
AJ I like how you mixed it up and answered other questions for your video! Keeps it fresh, especially if you aren't feeling the topic of the week so much.
A.J how old are you really?? i don't think i've ever heard you actually say it, and you always say you're so old, but i find that really hard to believe. no matter what age you are, i'll still think you're cool!!!
but im a cheerleader is my favorite. <3

My running commentary:
"Everyone is normal until you get to know them" ~ I am not sure who wrote this quote but I like it.
You were so going to say 50 something :P Don't worry AJ in 20 years I'll be 48. 20 years is a long time. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
