@TCdeG - Sure there is. I teach the second part in my new instructional video posted today. It is mixed low in the right channel. You're not hearing things! :)
@markyshizzle I understand your problem! I had the same problem a while ago! Here are some tips: Learn scales! It's all about scales. As soons as you know the key the tune is in, you can fool around in the related scale. Most of the times, a solo is played in a relating scale. Also trying different positions for several chords can help (for example bar instead of playing an open chord) a lot of notes in a chord are used in a solo ! (this is also relatable to scales) Good Luck Mate!
Dude, I can tell how much fun you had doing this, pulling the neck of the guitar up out of easy view. Which is not a criticism, implied or otherwise, just an observation that it was something you don't usually do. As always, I am in awe of your contributions to youtube.
@HillbillyKat88 - You have an excellent ear! This was laid down at the same session, hence the entire sound of the track is the same. It is basically the 'Little Queenie' track with 'Run Rudolph Run' vocals.
Thank you all for the kind words. I have been a huge fan of Sam's ever since I found him on YouTube. Can you imagine having someone as talented as Sam as your lead guitarist????? Thanks again, Sam! What a blast!! Merry Christmas, all!
I still remember the first video of Run Rudolph Run, and I has trilled back then. But now I am over excited. That whas one hell of a performance and collaboration between guitar playing and vocals.
Ain't it a wonderfull world we are living in, being able to witness such things from people all of the world just a few mouseclicks away.
Great playing! Nice guitar, I just finally got a 72 thinline telecaster. I've been a strat player for so many years, the telecaster is definitely an awesome change of pace for me :)
@CharGuitarGirl - Likewise, Charlotte. You must be a busy girl, I haven't seen a new video in a while. The new Squier bass sounds and looks great! I now have a few Squiers myself. Take care and have a great holiday season!
@opengtuning - Sam sent me an mp3 file of the tune, and I loaded it into StudioOne, by Presonus, as an audio track. I then recorded the vocals, with no effects and sent it back to Sam in mp3 format. Then Sam worked his magic and mixed it all together. It is pretty amazing, the sound he is able to get.....
Man your awesome! Any chance of a Hendrix or a SRV cover in the future?

@JoostVanKommer easier said than done haha. I can play most rhythm now pretty well but I struggle on solos and making it sound real crisp.

I love this song... I always thought it was a copy of Little Queenie by Chuck Berry... that opening and rythem is so similar. Great cover mate!!!
