May not have won an Oscar , but this movie is great never the less , I recall it when it came out theatres then , lots of kids were like you gotta see that car !!!
Saw a lot of car projects in schools after this movie.Good stuff and a great car represents what was cool then verry well.like a rat rod in the 40's.or anny other period correct hotrod it's beautifull work of driven pop art. the vet was a show stopper and too change it's paint job was cool also that was some expencive prop change.

How come the end of the TV Spot for Corvette Summer had the United Artists logo with Transamerica byline? I thought this movie was only done by MGM.
