@utuber377 This is from the SACD version. Instead of being crushed through 2 audio tracks like the original CD release (partly because of mastering, partly because of drugs) The SACD release of What's The Story had 6 tracks: 2 front tracks, two rear tracks, a center and a subwoofer.

SUPER AUDIO COMPACT DISC, which sony designed as a way to improve the sound of a conventional cd. Basically it was designed to allow what we now know as 5.1 surround channels of music on the disc AND standard stereo as well. It never took off, cause DVD-AUDIO replaced it as a more viable solution. I hope oasis DO bother to remaster all their catalogue in DVD AUDIO, cause it'd sound amazing.
