@xGymCouture For a second, I thought you were calling Sandra "him!" But yes, I totally agree. When Great Britain beat them at euros, it would have been pretty easy to write them off, but it seems as though they have gained back their consistency to some extent. I think they're still transitioning a bit, and the code still does not favor them, but you can see the change paying off when you watch somebody like Iordache or even Chelaru.
@nastia2012 It was brilliant when GBR beat them! Being a brit myself & apart from Beth Tweddle individually on bars and floor were not a strong country :P But I'm a USA fan so I don't really mind! But yeah, I LOVE watching Chelaru on floor! Also don't forget Ana Porgras! She is a beautiful gymnast :')
@xGymCouture I (being an American) agree that it was brilliant when GBR beat them, and they definitely deserved it. It's amazing to see a team that used to be so far behind end up on top of a powerhouse team. I think that it made Romania sort of freak out, though (in a very good way), because they never would have thought GBR could finish ahead of them by such a large margin. I'm not forgetting about Porgras, but from seeing her this year it seems like she has gone back to where she was in 2009.
@nastia2012 Haha thanks ;) Yeah sort of :/ She did have that injury last year so I wonder if thats set her back.. I haven't noticed but has Ana upgraded her vault this year or is she still doing a yurchenko full?
@xGymCouture She hasn't vaulted or done floor at all this year. She was registered for all around at euros, but I think she was sick or injured or something. She has also hit 1/3 beam routines this year, which makes me think she's lost her consistency. I don't think she missed a routine (on any event) at worlds.
@xGymCouture Yeah... If she competed AA, she probably could have won it. At worlds she was scoring high 57s/low 58s. Euros, IMO, were kind of a letdown, although still good. With Komova, Downie and Dufournet out, Porgras screwing up prelims and then Mustafina's injury, the finals were somewhat predictable. Having said that, I loved that girls (or women) like Chusovitina, Izbasa, Dementyeva, Bui, Racea, Seitz and Belokobylskaya managed to pick up medals.

@nastia2012 Oh right ok. I kind of missed Euros so I didn't really see much apart from the EF. That sucks though :/ She was getting so good! :)
