I think most Americans know in their heart that Canadian people are with them. I remember 9/11 and the diversions of hundreds of commercial flights scheduled to land in the US to our country, how the good folks of Gander, Newfoundland open their homes to those forced to land on our side of the border. I remember a passenger interviewed on CNN that day who said, "They're always there for us. The Canadians and the Brits. Thank you."
I hope we'll stand together against the coming tyranny.
Lol @ Canadians with a raging inferiority complex. I'm a Canadian who travels extensively down in the States. They fucking LOVE Canada, or at least don't have bad things to say about us.. I get free drinks anyways.

As a Canadian. I'm deeply moved that someone sees our strength, our sacrifice. Most Americans view us as weak, when that is clearly not the case. Thank you for breaking the norm and seeing us as your friends, your allies, and your brothers in arms.
@Perbear213 You'd be surprised how many Americans actually don't hate Canada. It's a myth. Americans make fun of Canadians just like Canadians make fun of Americans. It's just back and forth insults, no real hate. It's like someone from Chicago calling someone from New York stupid. It's just a territorial thing, we don't actually hate each other, let alone Canadians.
I like the comment by DjonX7 about it being just practice! Just another day at the office for them! Thank all of you who have served no matter the country...well as long as you are in NATO LOL!
As a proud Canadian, I have to admit, on those few occasions where Americans say disparaging things about Canada or Canadians, it's largely in response to some dumbass Canadian saying something bad about the U.S. I for one am both grateful and proud to have the U.S. as our closest friend and ally. Too often America is a better friend than Canada deserves. Thanks, QuartuvLarry.
Probably the best music I have seen on any military tribute video. All the rap, metal, electronica etc. just doesn't stack up against a good epic orchestral score.
Man its great to see this ive trained with many American soldiers before Marines and all. Im proud as a Canadian to have them as allies though our PR with their civies arnt the greatest lol
@AngeloNiklis End it here, if you like, sir. Want to take the conversation elsewhere, then? I think open dialogue with folks to the north is a good thing. You guys might preserve record of what happens here if tyranny befalls us.
I am an ex-member of the Canadian Forces (1960's). My great uncles served in WW1, my uncles in WW2, all before the U.S. arrived. I served with compradres who were in Korea. I have been so blessed to have served beside and with my Canadian brothers. You can hang-out at my camp fire anytime.
I fought beside Canuks and mighty glad I had, they're right up there with their brothers who fought at Pashendale in WW1, landed in France, took Antwerp in WW2, fought and bled throughout the hilly and mountainous terrain in Korea...And now my Northern brothers are bleeding beside us again in Afghanistan. They are true Canadian Warriors.
North American Coalition is fkin powerfull. USA without canada, this is their end. Canada without american : Canada's end. We are a coalition, We are brothers in arms, We fight together, American who are complaining about canadian are gay and love justin bieber in another way.

I'm Canadian, There's a large difference between Canada and the US. I was there. I noticed a clear difference. I'm not going to be rude and skeptical towards what I saw. lol
This video shows that Canadian and Americans are truly brothers in arms. I'm Canadian and I have served (Army- Infantry), and this video just made me want to say thank you to to the man that posted this vid. It makes me so happy that it's evident that Canadian and American troops recognize each other's bravery, sacrifice and courage. Let's also not forget about the British, Australian and German troops that fight with valor in the name of freedom. Once again, thank you so much for this video.
@QuartuvLarry That and for the most part the trolls... on both sides have no clue what its like to be in the armed forces.... never mind a real fire fight.
@QuartuvLarry It is getting better. But, it is the United States. When the US is up against its back, it will not lose a war. What a hell war that would be to put the US against its back. These little wars in iraq and afghanistan aren't serious wars.
@DJonX7 It's not practice for those who come back home on the Highway of Heroes with the flag draped over their coffins. It's not really something to shrug off like that.
Good Video.. Canada fought first in WW-1, WW-2, Korea, and a long period of Liberal governments who raped our armed forces up until Afghanistan..Now she has the best small army in the world and something to build on for the future..as a Canadian I see no need to point out the flaws of others and when they were forced to join the good fight.
hi canadian ,ontario, Hamilton 19 yeas old it is great to see this tribute because no one my age or any one talk about are troops even when im out with my friends n i see a canadian soldier no one stop n say hi or does anything so it is great to see are neighbours recognize our troops . RESPECT to u ! .
@koolsmegel10 Video won't play. But you don't need my opinion so much, as I don't know that many Canadians personally. This is merely showing my appreciation for guys who were no less brave in Afghanistan than I was.
Thank you my Yankee brother. I'm so proud to fight by your side . We are one people but different countries. We have always fought, side by side cause we represent the same values and beliefes
im american and i play xbox live and half the people on my friends list are Canadian so once i figure out how to make slideshow tributes im going to make an American US Army And Canadian Army tribute and i love the canadian CADPAT great camo!!!!
@KelliReimer No, thank YOU for your contribution! Most of my people's aversion to you is purely political. And while I'm definitely not a liberal/socialist/lefty, I can still appreciate the fact that it just takes that extra step outside the demographic to realize there's this entire nation of natural wonders and enjoyable people just north of us. Politics be damned
I am a "lefty" Canadian, but politics doesn't matter. I don't care if you're Republican or Democrat, if you're an American, we've got your back. I proudly fly the Canadian flag, the American flag, and the Union Jack at my house. The politics of it all can go to hell. Respect.
@GangsterHutterite Speaking as someone who has been there...I couldn't even tell the difference.
In this day and age, I've become weary of the whole dichotomy of demographics. You might not even like me in a political sense (American conservative, but even THAT defines little these days)
I just know that you guys helped us over there, and I am thankful. Not enough Americans realize you guys are like the forgotten cool stuff in the attic...
@QuartuvLarry from ra recently retired Canadian vet.....salute and thanks for the appreciation any time your up here in these part you have an invitation for a some great fishing! cheers!
Yeah , thanks for the post when i saw this vid i was like umm is that for real?!?!? but i appreciate it because i have had family go through the war and they tell me things that noone should live through no matter who you are. Anyay i appreciate this andgood work man :)
@QuartuvLarry Thank you for the post. I'm proud to call the US a friend. Respect from Canada. We might not say it enough but we really do love our southern brothers!
One of the few differences between Canada and the US is the location of the political centre. Canada is more left-leaning, the US is more right-leaning. But disagreement over politics shouldn't be cause for hatred.
Oh, and one last thing. Thank you, America, for your beautiful women! The girl I've been dating for two years is from Iowa. I'm heading down to Iowa in about a month (I'll probably melt in the heat) and she'll be coming up to Canada (Ontario and Manitoba) with me.
@v3ntulus Interesting you should say that. I happen to be from Iowa myself, but am living in Texas (which means, "Shut yo ass up about melting heat in Iowa!" Kidding! LOL!)
You Canadians aren't too different from us anyhow. Just so happens a few of the individuals who opened my eyes to the truth of things were Canadians
Other than that put 50 canadians and americans in a room together and talk to eachother.bet you wouldn't even guess whos american or canadian till you asked..
@1988scottcarey well we canadians have goofy accents <3 and we say eh so they would probs know.. lol at least when i talk to amerians they are like OHH YOU CANADIAN but i know what you mean ;)
God bless america and canada.I live in kitchener ontario,I've got family who lives in the atlanta greater area,The ATL.We recently a few days ago took a trip to upstate new york.I was talking to my aunt's son my cousin when we were gambling, you'd be supprised how americanas are just like canadians and vise versa. It felt i was talking to a canadian only thing that gave it away was the accent on both of us and how we relate back to our countries.Americans and canadians are good people forsure.
@TheMatthew0123 Well, I'm sure there's more good in us than you might expect. There's something to be said about the uses of nationalism, especially in times of war (phony wars that are unreasonably over-extended being the exception, if you know what I mean)
And I'm a conservative patriot (more like a libertarian, these days, I think) but why not recognize our allies? To this Texan, you guys are the cool stuff in the attic everyone else forgot about. There IS life up there, after all!
Though there is usually no shortage of praises (and disrespect) for our armed forces, a tribute to their actions and professionalism by our allies and sometimes even by our own, is quite rare and I thank you for this. I'm know my friends serving would be hard press to disagree. I find it funny and strange that our soldiers are decorated more and recognized more by foreign nations then by our very own country. We just like to shake their hands and tell them they're doing a great job.
Thanks for this video, great job! I like when I see respect for our allied forces, we are on the same team, and am proud for our nation to be fighting along side the Americans, the UK and other allied forces for a noble cause.
@1knowthetruth I don't begrudge people of patriotism to their own nation. And whatever our differences, political or otherwise, you guys are our allies.
I just stumbled onto your "tribute", and as a civilian Canadian wanted to thank you. My son met a marine in Vegas last year who was fresh back from over there and he too had high regard for the Canadians. It means a lot to me so I imagine it means all the more to the SOLDIERS.
As for "papade11a"... just a small mind, his comment speaks for itself.
a man they get epic fighting music when i was over there all i gout was the wizing sound of the bullets an my sargent yelling at me not to stand up or rais my head ...but man those were good times thanks for the resecpt
@papade11a we are allies im a canadian and i say we can only fight as hard as our brothers in arms there for we fought harder than any one else as a team and as one unified force
From a retired Canadian soldier (with a serving son and son-in law) thanks for the shout out. There seems to be a lot of discord between allies on youtube, rather there seems to be a lot of discord between those who have never worn a uniform.
@cf80to01 Believe me, there's already so much discord within my own country nowadays...pro-tyranny jerks hating on us Tea Partiers...but I thank you Canadians for throwing in with us overseas. Much appreciated!
Perhaps it started that way. But if we let Afghanistan fall to the Taliban, then within 4 years, maybe less, Pakistan will fall like clockwork under their control...NUCLEAR Pakistan
Excuse when i said "this war is a waste" although i do believe that is true, i probably came off quite rude. There are two reasons I'm against this war, first, I'm a pacifist and Christian i think fighting is wrong. Second, outside interference is very bad. It causes so many problems. One example is the troubles in Northern Ireland.
As a Canadain i am ashamed that these people are willing to die for non whites but refuse to stand up here in Canada and fight for me a WHITE MALE,we are persecuted like no race ever and this is every day white people are treated and viewed as sub human, you want to be heros? come fight for my rights in in anti-white Canada

DJonX7 1 month ago
@QuartuvLarry Infact, these wars in the middle east are just practice for the US and Canada.
DJonX7 1 month ago
@DJonX7 It's not practice for those who come back home on the Highway of Heroes with the flag draped over their coffins. It's not really something to shrug off like that.

@MsColdCanada Agreed.

@CallOfDutyGuy1019 Americans don't hate Canadians, but some Canadians seem to have issues with Americans.

Good Video.. Canada fought first in WW-1, WW-2, Korea, and a long period of Liberal governments who raped our armed forces up until Afghanistan..Now she has the best small army in the world and something to build on for the future..as a Canadian I see no need to point out the flaws of others and when they were forced to join the good fight.
paulfromdonmills 6 months ago
@paulfromdonmills Canada fought in a lot more wars than that.

@koolsmegel10 Video won't play. But you don't need my opinion so much, as I don't know that many Canadians personally. This is merely showing my appreciation for guys who were no less brave in Afghanistan than I was.

KelliReimer 11 months ago 3
@KelliReimer No, thank YOU for your contribution! Most of my people's aversion to you is purely political. And while I'm definitely not a liberal/socialist/lefty, I can still appreciate the fact that it just takes that extra step outside the demographic to realize there's this entire nation of natural wonders and enjoyable people just north of us. Politics be damned
QuartuvLarry 11 months ago 3
@QuartuvLarry
I am a "lefty" Canadian, but politics doesn't matter. I don't care if you're Republican or Democrat, if you're an American, we've got your back. I proudly fly the Canadian flag, the American flag, and the Union Jack at my house. The politics of it all can go to hell. Respect.
v3ntulus 6 months ago 3
Is this an exercise or the real shit?
And brilliant tribute sir! Shame so many Americans give people like you a bad name.
GangsterHutterite 11 months ago 2
@GangsterHutterite Speaking as someone who has been there...I couldn't even tell the difference.
In this day and age, I've become weary of the whole dichotomy of demographics. You might not even like me in a political sense (American conservative, but even THAT defines little these days)
I just know that you guys helped us over there, and I am thankful. Not enough Americans realize you guys are like the forgotten cool stuff in the attic...

thegtmable1 1 year ago
@QuartuvLarry
I'm heading down to Iowa in about a month (I'll probably melt in the heat) and she'll be coming up to Canada (Ontario and Manitoba) with me.
v3ntulus 6 months ago
@v3ntulus Interesting you should say that. I happen to be from Iowa myself, but am living in Texas (which means, "Shut yo ass up about melting heat in Iowa!" Kidding! LOL!)
You Canadians aren't too different from us anyhow. Just so happens a few of the individuals who opened my eyes to the truth of things were Canadians

TheMatthew0123 1 year ago 3
@TheMatthew0123 Well, I'm sure there's more good in us than you might expect. There's something to be said about the uses of nationalism, especially in times of war (phony wars that are unreasonably over-extended being the exception, if you know what I mean)
And I'm a conservative patriot (more like a libertarian, these days, I think) but why not recognize our allies? To this Texan, you guys are the cool stuff in the attic everyone else forgot about. There IS life up there, after all!
QuartuvLarry 1 year ago 2
Though there is usually no shortage of praises (and disrespect) for our armed forces, a tribute to their actions and professionalism by our allies and sometimes even by our own, is quite rare and I thank you for this. I'm know my friends serving would be hard press to disagree. I find it funny and strange that our soldiers are decorated more and recognized more by foreign nations then by our very own country. We just like to shake their hands and tell them they're doing a great job.

From a retired Canadian soldier (with a serving son and son-in law) thanks for the shout out. There seems to be a lot of discord between allies on youtube, rather there seems to be a lot of discord between those who have never worn a uniform.
cf80to01 1 year ago 31
@cf80to01 Believe me, there's already so much discord within my own country nowadays...pro-tyranny jerks hating on us Tea Partiers...but I thank you Canadians for throwing in with us overseas. Much appreciated!

This war is a waste.
vikingcrest12 1 year ago
Perhaps it started that way. But if we let Afghanistan fall to the Taliban, then within 4 years, maybe less, Pakistan will fall like clockwork under their control...NUCLEAR Pakistan
QuartuvLarry 1 year ago
Excuse when i said "this war is a waste" although i do believe that is true, i probably came off quite rude. There are two reasons I'm against this war, first, I'm a pacifist and Christian i think fighting is wrong. Second, outside interference is very bad. It causes so many problems. One example is the troubles in Northern Ireland.
vikingcrest12 1 year ago
@vikingcrest12 There's still trouble in Northern Ireland?
