  • I've removed my responses here as I do not think my real views will be given full thoughtfulness and considerations. I'm Catholic, pro-life (just not the agenda itself) and a lifetime girl scout.

Please don't judge the GSUSA based on these 2 ladies website & this interview. Do your own research - this interviewer is not speaking for every Catholic - just a few radicals.

  • Girl Scouts isn't what I thought it was. IT IS SO MUCH BETTER! Girls come in all shape, sizes, colors and can be transgender. Lets learn to be more accepting and loving to each other.

  • Major kudos to these young ladies. Our children don't need to be corrupted by PP or GSA!

  • why shouldn't they be affiliated with PP?

Allowing women to make informed decisions?

Keeping women from throwing away their lives?

    ...seriously...

  • I am so glad there are more girls getting the word out. I was a girl scout then a leader for 8 years. I am embarrassed that I was with the girl scouts that supports these organizations. Please RESEARCH RESEARCH RESEARCH, information is out there. Juliette Low would be rolling in her grave. American Heritage Girls here I come.

  • @seesuesew22 Research the funding group called The United Way Organization before hopping off to American Heritage Girls. I knew about this connection between groups for about 12 years - old news folks!

  • Any one ever did some investigative research into Margaret Sanger here? To find out what is true

need to examine both sides of an issue, and make an wise, informed decision. Course, not much evidence of the old investigative reporting going on in this present age. We just have mindless puppets who are not free to examine issues. ??

  • Thanks, Sydney and Tess (and Lila).

Those who are making nasty remarks here, why the hate? Where's tolerance? Your comments are irrational, uninformed and denigrate a thinking position.

  • I don't know a lot about planned parenthood, but there are worse things than buying cookies from a company that supports planned parenthood. What about all of the companies that use child labor? Seriously.

  • Just because the kid may have a bad life is not a good enough reason to have an abortion. John Lennon and Steve Jobs were orphans and Malcolm X had foster parents. Gaius Caesar happened to become the boss of Rome.

  • Thank you very much, i;m not putting my child in it. I researched a little and found out thats just the begining. They're actually involved in more sinister things

  • @jay011209 I'm sure the Girl Scouts are relieved that a girl whose father is obsessed with "sinister things" is NOT joining the truth.

  • Pro choice is definitely the equivalent of pro abortion

  • BOO YOU WHORES.

  • You can just tell that host is a complete cunt in real life.

  • You girls need to educate yourselves. Grow up.

  • PP is something that should not be government funded. I know this from personal experience, they are not there to do what is best for the patients, they are there for their pay check and they don't mind making patients miserable for going in for their services, I would rather pay full price with a respected OBGYN for my dignity than ever have to set foot in that place ever again.

  • @saranebp planned parenthood is the largest provider of reproductive health services in the US. Contraception accounts for 35% of PPFA's total services and abortions account for 3%; roughly 10% of PPFA's clients obtain abortions. The federal money received by Planned Parenthood is not used to fund abortion services, as required by law. It not only SHOULD be funded by the government but it is at this point NECESSARY, because so many people need it, and without funding it would shut down. fuck off

  • @misterbuckethead, people go to planned PP because of ignorance, they think that is their only option when they can get way better quality care from a certified OBGYN, I can't expect for you as a men to understand that, all that you are looking at are statistics on paper, not at woman that have been traumaticed by PP. PP is for scared teenage girls that don't want their parents to know they are sexually active and prostitutes, why else would you explain so much secrecy?

  • @saranebp are you daft? Planned parenthood would and could not exist under such circumstances. PPFA provides an array of services to over three million people in the United States, and supports services for over one million clients outside the United States, and ONLY 15% OF THEM ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 21. Not to mention that the doctors who work at PP ARE CERTIFIED OFFICIALS. You're an ignorant fool projecting your close-minded fears onto a legitimate health-service provider. Nice grammar, idiot.

  • @misterbuckethead, it seems like all of the pro-choice people are full of hate, and your just another example with all of your insults. Since your so good at finding statistics, why don't you go ahead and research how many millions of dollars are donated to PP every year? Like I said before, I couldn't expect someone like you to understand..

  • @saranebp Planned Parenthood receives about a third of its money in government grants and contracts (about $360 million in 2009). Planned Parenthood is also funded by private donors, with a membership base of over 700,000 active donors whose contributions account for approximately one quarter of the organization's revenue. see next comment

  • @saranebp Why would it be an issue how much is donated to planned parenthood? Hmmm, donating to an organization that helps women get tested for cancer and sexually transmitted diseases? an organization that helps families make the right choices in providing for their children? I am not full of hate, I am full of disappointment because people like you are what prevent progress towards a more perfect society. In 2007 clinic income totaled $374.7 million, 2/3 of which goes towards health services.

  • Planned parenthood does so many other things!!! stupid, stupid stupid!

  • So... you're mad at an organization that supports girls... instead of the parents of the girls getting knocked up at 14 and younger? Am I missing something here?

  • Planned Parenthood is the organization that was caught on tape advising pimps and prostitutes how to beat the system and break the law. No federal funding for these creeps ever!

  • Planned parenthood gives girls and women informed education! This young women need to learn the effing truth!

  • A clinic in the nearest city to me has a "women's clinic."A gentleman in from MI crashed his car into the clinic, doused the lobby in gasoline and attempted to start it on fire. Why? To protest abortion! Oddly, the clinic isn't an abortion clinic and none of it's doctors perform abortions. They call themselves a "women's clinic because THE DOCTORS THERE ARE OB/GYNs!

  • Ignorant bigots. Good riddance.

  • @varukasalt Really is that the best you can do? We're sick of you perverts and degenerates. Start your own queer scouts and the problem is solved and you'll be with people that accept you. Then you won't have to deal with normal intelligent people...

  • how dare girlscouts send pregnant teens to doctors!

  • I am so proud of you girls for exposing the truth about Girl Scouts. My daughter joined American heritage Girls and loves it. She said she would never go back to GS.

  • I am glad that these ignorant people are leaving the Girl Scouts. This will allow the organization to continue to spread their message and protect these girls and their right to choice regarding their bodies. PP is a wonderful organization and I am really happy to hear that Girl Scouts partners with them.

  • @TheOhPeg You sure got the PP talking points down. Does the talking points cover sex trafficking? PP staffers (on video) in VA and NJ helped sex traffickers find information on how to obtain abortions without facing scrutiny and get STD testing for the girls. Three more videos released afterwards show three additional Virginia PP abortion clinics helping the sex traffickers. PP=ACORN. Just because you were promiscuous doesn't mean every young girl is a whore.

  • OH wow, how..ignorant. Without PP many low income women would not have access to gynecological care. PP does STD testing, cancer screening, gives free birth control, and helps many women get care including cancer care they would not normally be able to afford. WTF? Talk to your priest? I think the last person a kid should talk to is a priest...just sayin'.

  • "This has been going on since the 70s"

AND PEOPLE HAVE BEEN OKAY WITH IT SINCE THE 70s

  • Planned Parenthood is a woman's health organization. You are just bigots.

  • The girlscouts are better off without people of such low character as you.

  • I was a girl scout for many years and nothing like this ever came up, but honestly, I wish it had. I wish I had been given more information about planned parenthood and safe sex. Trust me, girls, you think those views that have been shoved down your throats over and over by parents or clergy are the only way, but when it happens to you, it's a whole new story. I was against abortion except in a time of rape... until I ended up pregnant at 19. And then I realized the shoe was on the other foot.

  • planned parenthood is for gaining information on stds and obtaining birth control for women and teens who normally would not have these services available to them. it is important in this day and age to be safe about sex and get the information needed

  • Betty Friedan is a fucking legend.

What the hell? Do none of these girls read the lit?

"talk to your clergy" is also a dependent statement that excludes anyone outside their narrow slice of reality.

    Assholes.

  • umm...planned parenthood is more for getting safe sex, or getting on birth control. It is important in this day and age for girls to be informed that there are places like Planned Parenthood that can help you deal with the pressures of sex and society. Narrow minded b***hes.

  • you are often times just as close minded as the people to claim to hate... :)

  • have it be illegal and be a free for all... so all of you "pro-life" people, need to realize, that if you want to save WOMEN's lives, as well as babies, leave planned parenthood alone, and let them councel women to the best of their abilities, and help them find doctors who are certified surgeons to do their abortions, therefore they're not bleeding out at home... Just saying.. and all the "pro-choice" people who are hating Christians for being pro-life... Take me as an excpetion, and realize

  • means that I myself, would not have an abortion, and I would attempt to help any friends or family that were considering it, to find alternatives. However I know that if we didn't have legal, regulated places for women that have their hearts set on abortion to have "the procedure" done, there would be crazy hack doctors out there doing them anywya. Or women trying to abort hteir own babies, and ending up with babies with defects, or dead mothers. I'd rather it be legal, and regulated, than

  • Listen to this one, lol I'm pro-life, in the fact that I don't think ANYONE needs an abortion for any reason other than the mother is going to die if her pregnancy continues, in which case, yes, the mothers life is the priority. However I dont think that in rape cases, or even incest cases, babies should be aborted. Period. However I ALSO support planned parenthood and what they do. They offer a lot of information to a lot of women, about MANY things aside from abortion. I AM Christian, which

  • Planned Parenthood is called Planned Parenthood because it helps girls/women deal with their pregnancy and plan to take care of their baby, they can even help with adoptions. Yes, they are Pro-choice, but they do not force abortion nor is that the only thing they do! These girls are highly uninformed about the organization itself and are also uninformed about abortion. These girls are young, from Texas, and are religious, so frankly I'm not surprised...

  • @Monzie99 Just to add to your comment, PP also requires a few hours of counselling and requires patients read and sign information about adoption before an abortion is performed or they are referred to an outside hospital for an abortion. Its so irritating that people don't even consider the pains PP goes through to try and keep abortion rates minimal.

  • It's unfortunate that these kids are too young to intelligently look at the big picture, so they parrot their biased, moronic parents. I would like to think that in 10-15 years these girls will watch this video and cringe in shame. Though they probably should get out of Texas.

  • yes because planned parenthood doesn't also help women who need help with there pregnancies and also with pre natal care. jeez

  • @freakyfreaklol That's another thing that grinds my gears! Everyone obsesses over the minority of PP locations that provide abortions or referrals for abortions, but they forget that they also provide counselling, health care, and information on financial aid and insurance for expectant mothers as well as counselling for rape victims, sexual health education, and non-abortion options for unwanted pregnancies (do you know how many adoption agencies work with PP to find loving adoptive parents?)

  • @Aourai7 the fact that people are so uneducated of the other functions PP pisses me off, the worst offender for me was glenn beck when he was mocking that womans letter as she spoke about why PP is a great organization for women

  • I haven't even watched the video yet, but just from reading the comments I am highly disturbed. Everyone in American society is too judgmental and contradictory. Some of you say you promote the right to knowledge and education in regards to female specific issues and that you support the subsequent right to female choice and power, yet you insult one of the most prominent organizations that does so. Planned Parenthood doesn't market itself as an abortion friendly free-for-all institution.

  • No one is really "pro-abortion." Trust me, the alternative is even more sad and painful. Every woman should have reproductive rights to make her own choices. Anti-abortion legislation is another effort by men to control womens' bodies, and religion, to control their minds. Girl scouts is about the empowerment of young girls into women, and if you don't like having choices, or enjoy weltering under pater-famialial b.s., get out of girl scouts.!! I think I'll go ahead and buy 1000 cookies now!!

  • These tiny little tweens will eventually get knocked up and realize they were protesting their own rights.

  • Dear girls in this video, thank you thank you thank you for leaving the Girl Scouts. They are much better without destructive people like you who don't believe a woman has a right to her own body. Please get in a time machine and go back 40 years when coat hangers were all the rage and watch women bleed out. I'm sure you'll be much happier there.

  • Don't all of these people freaking over Girl Scouts being in partnership with Planned Parenthood know that 90% of Planned Parenthood locations do not provide abortions, and over 75% don't provide referrals for abortions? They do, however, provide information about female health, low cost annual exams, cancer screening, and sexual health and well being? Know about your "enemy" before you decide they're your enemy.

Also, GSUSA is not a religious organization. Keep the clergy out of it.

  • Abortion is Murder!!

    Besides if your raped.

???? okay Most pro-lifers will say that lol

    Ughhhh

    Girlscouts are awesome.

  • No one is "pro abortion"

  • I thought that Girl Scouts was about empowering girls and protecting the rights for girls to make their own life decisions. Oh, they ARE? Awesome, they are who I think they are! These girls are judgmental and have a narrow world view that they seem to believe we should all be forced to share. no thanks, but there are nations where you can live without the freedoms we have in the US, why not move to a Catholic nation where your opinions are shared by the mainstream, ladies? Bye bye!

  • Girl Scouts supports Planned Parenthood? An organisation that helps support women and gives them the power to make their own decisions and take control of their own bodies in a patriarchal society that actively seeks to take away a woman's right to her body and sexual freedom? BLASPHEMY!

Get an education outside of your church and step into the 21st century with the rest of us.

  • @Talisastory

I think you're on the wrong video. This is speaking against abortion, not condoms and pills. And since when did these people attempt to legalize rape? I'd be impressed if you could answer this question.

  • @Talisastory Um, actually - Planned Parenthood doesn't really help women. Their sole goal in life is to kill unborn babies. If men and women are entitled to rights, then where are the rights for the unborn babies? They aren't apart of their mothers, they are their own person. Its time for a reality check and open a medical book or watch an ultra-sound and know the truth.

  • @Talisastory Why hide behind the curtain of "take control of their own bodies"??? Just come clean and say you want to have casual sex and then kill any babies that might be created from said sex.....

  • Catholic church, huh? Yeah, you two youngsters sure look like you know what true faith, love, and devotion are...

  • This is nothing more than a marketing ploy for American heritage girls, a very white, right wing, anti-choice organization to brainwash young girls.

  • I really wonder what kind of ultra right wing backers these two have. Hopefully they will never need the services of Planned Parenthood. And maybe they will lose their rose colored glasses at some point.

  • Gees won't it be ironic if one of these two twits ever need the services of Planned Parenthood?

  • Get the facts: 100questionsforthegirlscouts(dot)org Not only does Girl Scouts promote Planned Parenthood, Girl Scouts hired a punk rock singer as their media spokesperson who makes videos about killing women, and allowed him to be the adult chaperone at United Nations "Girls Only" event. How's that for a "pro-girl" organization? And he's still working there amongst the girls.

  • I'm against the smoking industry so I'm going to stop buying KD products.

  • To bad these girls are quitters and not using their resources to make positive changes to an all girl organization.

  • finally teens with common sense:) God bless you all.

  • Good job girls! I love when people, like these girls, fight against the evil Liberal agendas, and their pro-murder stance on babies. FIGHT!

  • If you never heard about it, how does it matter? They are protecting girls that are going to have sex or get raped... "I'd encourage them to pray"- And that will prevent what?

  • Hot Conservative Woman telling other girls how to be hot and conservative women

  • I was a Girl Scout, and nothing like this ever came up.

  • @AshleyH777 : did you ever actually look into this? If you were just a passive member, it wouldn't be surprising that you weren't aware of it.

Since you're now aware of this, what is your position?

  • @pmasoncpa I like Planned Parenthood! I don't have any concerns. However, the important point is the Girl Scouts are not shoving a pro-choice agenda down the Girl Scouts' throats. Never was a word about abortion spoken in my troop.

  • @AshleyH777 when is Planned Parenthood ever straight forward about their dealings? When people know they are doing something wrong they usually don't tell everyone.

  • @TheSchimdawg What nonsense. Certainly, Live Action itself is something less than straightforward.

  • @AshleyH777 Perhaps you should become more aware. You'll learn in life to keep both eyes open.

  • @kcufmalsi Actually, I did have both eyes open. And what I noticed was that *I* was there, and you weren't. Don't tell me what did or didn't happen. You weren't there, and you're not aware of what I experienced in Girl Scouts. How utterly presumptuous of you.

  • @AshleyH777 Another idiot with talking points. I bet you were never in the girl scouts. Here's a merit badge for you: SHE KEPT HER MOUTH SHUT.

  • @kcufmalsi Oh look! Another misogynistic idiot! I think you're looking for the American Heritage Girls. They work on producing girls that guys like you can smack around.

  • Should the girls' parents be letting a woman who hangs around criminals talk to their daughters?

  • @BabyK71482 : Please clarify. What criminals is Lila Rose hanging out with? What were they convicted of?

  • Go Girl Scouts, Living up to your oaths even if the organization does not!

-Proud of you both, Eagle Scout who prays this smut never gets into the Boy Scouts.

  • I completely support these girls views! All y'all that are saying this is fake, pp is good, and all that crap, you want to support the killing, that's right, MURDER of innocent babies? Fine be a cruel inhumane human being. But then again you'd rather save the dying abandoned puppies of the world rather than saving a child of your own species from being murdered. If kids in middle school and high school "need" PP for abortions and they dont need to be having children then why not keep them from

  • wow. i was a girl scout for 3 years when i was little, im horrified by this. what a horrible thing for young girls to support. thanks sydney, tess, and lila!

  • Comment removed

  • @KaelaBz Wow and aren't you polished and impressive. Nice language. Makes me want to sign my daughter up for scouts on the spot.

  • Planned Parenthood: "This video has been edited. Tess and Sydney probably don't exist." ;)

  • @TisMyIsland well i think they exist

  • @musiclovin1 Of course they exist

  • @TisMyIsland

yeah, they prob don't...the manipulators of america are vast. don't believe anything they say. The rest of the world, thankfully, can tel truth from falsehood.

  • @TisMyIsland I'd like to see some REAL proof of this, rather than hearing from a biased source that these girls PROBABLY don't exist.

  • @amanda2324 Josh, can't you people take a piece of sarcasm.

  • Comment removed

  • LMAO... Only took these girls 8 years to find out that the Girl Scouts just want to turn them into Abortion patients.... Lila Rose, you silly horses ass.

  • @sickofgod69 The "54th Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations" is what set this off, this only broke around 2010, in other words, this did not happen when they joined.

  • Ill never buy girl skout cookies again. I thought this was a myth but am glad I actually know the real truth thank you.

  • Also girl scouts will be part of Obama's “national civilian security force”. They're beign recurited by Homeland Security.

  • What's so wrong about Pro-Choice?! I think it's great that GSUSA has a partnership with Planned Parenthood and StayTeen.org. Girls don't need to be having babies in high school, or middle school for that matter! It's the mother's decision to do what SHE wants, whether that is to keep the baby, give it up for adoption, or abort it. You religious nuts are crazy.

  • @xemmix2013 YOU MURDERS ARE HEARLESS

  • @mnc130load1 YOU can't spell.

  • @mnc130load1 I can hear perfectly well.

  • @xemmix2013 YOU MURDERS ARE HEART

    LESS

  • Comment removed

  • Love these girls!!!! I AGREE and support what you are doing. I believe in PROLIFE. I love that they encourage prayer. I am Mormon and believe in prayer as well. Good job girls. Keep it up.

  • @babyk71482 What is pathetic is taking the life of an innocent child.

  • @cvcrosslover "What is pathetic is taking the life of an innocent child."

I love that rebuttal. I'm serious, that was great. =3 SAVE THE BABIES!!!

  • The money our troop gets from selling cookies is used to pay for stuff the troop needs as well as activities these kids do. I think it's sad people will turn there backs on women (mostly poor, low income) who need PP and innocent children who are in Girl Scouts just to further pro-life, right wing agenda. You people are pathetic.

  • Sorry about the double post :( .

  • It is SO past old that there is only one acceptable lifestyle for everyone, and that's the "Christian" lifestyle. THAT is not true. I am a former Girl Scout and never once heard anything even insinuated about any of this. PP does not just push abortions, either. Before condemning an entire organization, make sure the WHOLE org., not just a few branches of it, are requiring that PP be mentioned. Do they have a PP badge now? Taking a stand is admirable only when it's done with accurate information

  • As a former Girl Scout, I find this very embarrassing. I hope this exposure of the connection makes national news. The organization should not be supporting a sleazy organization like PP (and for those who are willfully ignorant of PP's BS: SHAME ON YOU! DO YOUR RESEARCH instead of repeating the lies fed to you. How about supporting children's hospitals and other more worthy causes?

  • This is B.S. Both my girls are in girl scouts and have never heard anything about this. Any one has the right to donate funds, just because you say something is wrong doesn't mean it is. Women have rights over there bodies. Last time I checked abortion was legal and there it's never going to change.

  • @BabyK71482 sounds like your views are in line with GSUSA ... perhaps Girl Scouts is in line with your beliefs. But GS' links to Planned Parenthood disturb many pro-life families. These girls are not saying that everyone will be concerned, simply sharing facts so that people can make an informed decision based on the facts.

  • @cvcrosslover I find it amazing that some so called pro-lifers can be picketing in front of PP one day and inside getting an abortion the next. Then after go on back to picketing telling women not to get abortions when they have. I don't have a problem with people who are against abortion and I can some what understand why but I think attacking PP and Girls Scouts for having different views is ridiculous. Only 3% of PP services are abortion, but I guess that makes them and Girl Scouts evil.

  • @BabyK71482 It can change with prayer.

  • Congratulations to this brave young ladies for taking a stand

  • These girls have guts.

  • That is right but it does not mean every girl scout is not what you think they are

  • This is not true cause my gril scout troop does not teach this stuff

  • @nicoleduckworth19961 Nicole, Listen to what they are saying. It is true at the national level, even it if it is not in *every* troop.

  • Comment removed

  • Knowledge is power. Perhaps the Girl Scouts (and their moms and dads) should listen to these young ladies before partnering with an admitted criminal conspiracy. Still not a Taylor Swift fan though.

  • Good for Sydney & Tess! True role models in the making.

  • I am glad I am no longer doing Girl Scouts anymore. I love their cookies, but Babies are worth more. <3 I can replace their cookies, but you cannot replace babies.

  • You can tell these young ladies are looking up to Lila. And it is so refreshing to see that they are not looking up to her because she's a pop star, dresses immodestly, or has millions of dollars. No, they look up to her because she is taking a moral stand on an unpopular subject.

Way to go girls! You'll do more for your age group than any adult can.

  • SaberCowInk, see the link provided in the description.

  • I kinda wanna see the proof. i'l be honest in saying that the word of an 8th grader and a high school froshman don't convince me enough.

  • @SaberCowInk go to go to the website girlscoutswhynot

  • God bless these girls and God bless Live Action!

  • Google "Freemasonry has infiltrated the Boy Scouts"

  • you don't have to go without Girl Scout cookies. Keebler brand makes exactly the same kind of many, mint, peanut butter among others

  • Tess and Sydney - thank you, thank you! God bless you!

  • You girls are my heroes! :)

  • Wow!! God Bless these girls, Great role models... No girl scout cookies for me. Unreal I never knew about that.. ugh sick..

  • these girls are kick ass!

  • No more Girl Scout cookies for me! :-)

  • @MBF62 same here!

  • I wanted to join Girl Scouts when I was younger and my mom wouldn't let me. Now I know why! I am so proud of Tess and Sydney!! You two are awesome and sacrificing so much for what you believe. God Bless you

  • Our government is turning the Girl/Boy Scouts into their own vision of what they should be.

  • I can't believe girl scouts suppports PP! thats awful...so glad I quit a long time ago! Thank you for everything Live Action does!

  • I am thoroughly disgusted, and glad that my Girl Scout leader quit on my group so early.

  • The Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts headed down different moral paths years ago. This is evidence of the wrong choices that have been made by the Girl Scouts for a long time. Thank you Sydney and Tess for standing up for what is right, and for exposing what is wrong with the Girl Scouts. I pray God blesses you both for the courage you exhibited in exposing the truth.

  • Aw, the only reason I bought Girl Scout cookies was b/c the cutest little 5-year old girls would ask me to buy them and you can't deny their little hearts! Great to know the truth now - Thank you ladies!

  • I'm gonna miss buying Girl Scout cookies.

  • @GrandFunker Freak!

  • @witch26071 Why would you call me a freak?

  • @GrandFunker Sorry I mis-read your comment, I thought you were insinuating that you wanted to have sex with girl scouts. I'm sooo sorry.

  • @witch26071 Well, I did...when I was in ninth grade! LOL

  • dang, those cookies are so good though. I guess Im not buying gs cookies anymore

  • Girl Scouts supports PP? That's really upsetting! I used to be a Girl Scout and I can't believe I was supporting this!

  • @SimplyLaurel : Herein lies the problem with "going viral". In most cases, you're not. In some, I'm sure you are. A video like this hits the 'net and funding for everyone hits the skids. All these people saying "no more GS cookies for me" are really saying "no more funding for the kids" because of what some troops might be doing (which might not be that bad to everyone). Research what's really going on instead of just hearing what is being said. Is it jaded or spoon-fed? Does it apply to all?
