I watched this on TV and looked for DVD that I can play where I live. But the region code prohibited viewing in Japan... I am sad. I looked for video CD but no luck...

Annabella is absolutely my favourite, I don't know how she managed to steal my heart like this. Gosh how amazing it would be to see she and Charlie develop some kind of romantic love together. Though to be honest, I feel like they did have it, to some extent. I just wish there was more of it. And I never thought I'd say that, either, at the beginning of the movie I was cursing Charlie and hating on him and hoping he never got a cute Inuit lady. :P but gosh, just seeing them together. wow.

Saw the movie two days ago

Great film. Annabel play very good, but I don„t like becaus is a drama. I wanted to go eat at that restaurant who spoke in the film and stay together.

I imagine if I was the guy.I would have gone to the restaurant afterward and I would bought two plates.One for her who is no longer alive and one for me to honour her gift of saving my live and her friendship and kindness and I would not have touched her plate and I would have taken an extra long time to eat my steak.

but truth be told I was hoping to see them both at the restaurant.

perhaps,that is what made that movie so powerful that unfortunately that sweet little brave eskimo girl died.None of us wanted to see that but you know the movie would not have been so haunting if she lived

@NYWAORCANZ This is AmericanHobo3 again on my real account. I wanted a fairy tale ending too. In a sense though I'm glad they didn't do that. I wouldn't have become so damn obsessed with this movie, so moved by it, if they had, I don't think. I was expecting it to all go a certain way and it really didn't.

When we first turned the movie on I , 1. Hated Charlie, 2. 'Knew' how the movie would go. They'd fall in love and have sex and then she'd get better cause they'd get to a town. lol so wrong

So I saw this vid and the movie a while ago, and I have to say how well done this was. The clips and the song were edited extremely well. When I first rented the movie-I thought it would be a romance and was pleasantly surprised to find out it wasn't. Instead a beautiful and honest friendship, respect and trust was forged between the male and female leads-something we hardly see without a love affair creeping in. Thanks for this:)

I personally think that this film has turned out better than the Avatar. Because some of the scene in this film very much even it is closer to our personal power. Nothing violence. Even she died it's beatiful movie.

really really amazing movie, one of my favourites. i watched it not knowing what to expect, ended up loving it, and i just cried for like 10 minutes stright after the movie ended. not just because it was sad, because it was so beautiful. a really emotional and wonderful movie. i got it from my local library, so if you can't find it in a moive store, try a library.

I didn't like this movie. When it ended, I had to make up a different ending so I wouldn't be depressed all the time. It's honestly one of my favorite movies in the whole world; and I think the word 'beautiful', is what came to my mind once I finished it; but I just can't watch it again. So I'm not exactly sure why I bought the dvd. And I know that totally made no sense; but I think there's someone out there who knows what I'm trying to say.

She walked off into the snow in the night like her mother before her so the pilot wouldn't die trying to save her. It's a movie a lot of guys like myself probably have a hard time convinving themselves to watch, but it would be far more difficult to walk away from it once you do view it. Time well spent. Has anyone seen any other movies with Annabella (or any MP3's of her singing traditional music)?

Beautiful! I just saw this movie last night and I loved it. I've always had a weakness for Farley Mowat, survival stories and stunning settings. The song definitely fits.

Hehe, I also couldn't help joking that the film kinda reminded me of Cast Away. Albeit in a colder setting, without the crappy after-the-island bit, and if Wilson was a cute Inuit girl ;P
