2-Mandatory co-pay of $50 for ALL doctor visits.
3-Liability limits on lawsuits. California has that, and it works.

dokkiro...senior Bush was never governor of Texas. He was in the CIA and was VP to Reagan before becoming the president. His oil business escapades aren't as well documented as his son's. George Jr was put into business and was a notorious failure in the oil business. He was made president of the Texas Rangers Baseball club using his name as son of the VP to get a new stadium where they intimidated people to sell their homes at below market prices. I'll look into Sr's oil dealings though.

I find it extremely interesting that all of the liberals that support the UHC proposal have nothing to say about the strongarm tactics that are being used to intimidate those that disagree with it. With this deafening silence on the actual substace of these videos, I can only conclude, that they support it. To me, this is scarier than the actual proposal itself.

Sorry Joe402, like most Americans, I'm very happy with my health insurance. America is past the tipping point due to almost 1/2 of the citizens paying ZERO income tax and demanding the other 1/2 pay for everything.
You could fix most of the problems by doing 3 simple things:
1-No health care provided for illegals, except true emergencies.
2-Mandatory co-pay of $50 for ALL doctor visits.
3-Liability limits on lawsuits. California has that, and it works.

I'm wondering whether you realize that most Mexican people are part Indian, some are mostly descended from Native Americans.
That means that you are kinda the illegal immigrant on land that their great great great great grandad used to live on or around.

I am a very conservative guy.. and I favor health care reform, I don't care for the current one being pushed, but I do agree that it needs to be done, just not in its current incarnation.
That said, I volunteer my time to help poor folks whenever I can, I am not a hippie, or a commie.. quite the opposite, I have been in the GOP my entire life, and I refuse to accept the big business Republican line that has been jammed down our throats for the past 30 years, we are reforming the GOP!
