Theses shoes have a very thin and flexible sole - I can still feel the surface and my feet are protected. I see how minimalistic shoes are more superior than traditional trainers, but I don't see how going barefoot is better than using minimalistic footwear. Even ancient tribes in many parts of the world used some kind of protection (leather, tree bark) to protect their feet. Barefoot running style is great, but the whole barefoot movement is a bit hyped up ;)
I'm not really sure what the point here is, or what you are "training" for. Not to be a troll, I just don't see anything really different about what you're doing, other than playing in the woods and having fun, which is something that a lot of people do.
Studies, work, other projects. You know it's not easy for an active student :D
Actually I need to get back in training soon, because I start to feel that my physical form is not as good as it was last summer. Thank YOU all for your support and interest. You motivate me to get better.
That was pretty good. I do this kind of stuff everywhere I go, but if you want to add a whole new degree of difficulty to it, just add snow, snowshoes and a 35lb pack and some more speed...then you got yourself a real challenge
@alkavadlo You can. Just step outside and go! If there's no nature around you because your trapped in a concrete jungle, then drive out to the country and run. That's the ultimate beauty of MovNat and Paleo workouts, you can do it anywhere.
@MovNatOntario Or stay in the "concrete jungle", since you can do all the same workouts there. The only difference is it's called parkour, but it's all the same really.
Thanks for showing us part of your new training method as well as sharing the beautiful footage! Your strength, stamina, mental acuity and zero body fat are amazing qualities!!
Why shoes? Seriously?

Tom, wow, what scenery you got there to shoot your video!
I just wish you'd put out videos more often, because they are quite enjoyable!
