I made a really cool trench like the one in one of The Pacific episodes, where the Japanese sniper shoots out of it. It has a roof over top and a shooting hole, and am soon gonna put a door on it.

Heres a tip dig a trench 3feet deep as long as your wall put wall in and cinder bocks in the back

also If a big storm can knock your fort down I would not consider It a fort at all.

Awsome fort/field area. I cant have trenches because my woods (Forest) has so many trees and deer / cyotes that its imposiblle. 1. The trees have roots that cover all under ground are. 2. I saw a doe 3 feet from my window. If I dug a hole in the woods and ANYTHING (Animals) got stuck in there I'd be screwed.

What I could recommended you doing for the reinforced trench, is to line it (walls, floors, etc.) with plywood, and drape a canvas sheet on the plywood, that was it'll not gonna fill up with mud and stuff if it rains.

nice fort my favorite is the big fort and also is that land all yours? btw i would suggest on the door in the big mount another board on top but have a little peep hole so you could shoot with great protection but thats just my opinion you don't have to do that

dude sweet airsoft field. we have an awesome one for our team though. we got a little lucky though. one of our teams members have 70 acres of old land not only on a lake and over a creek, but also has old houses from the civil war scattered all over it. at my other friends house we have a huge trenched up fort that we use but ya. its fucking awesome, and ill try and make a video response with a little footage of it soon

um, just want to ask somethings. are you susre about those mesurments, because the one you said was 4 feet deep looks about 2 1/2 to 3 feet deep. the one you said at the beggining was 2 feet deep, but it was only 1 foot deep and the logs add maybe a quarter foot to it. i think they all are good for function, but telling a wrong mesurment makes them seem better than they really are. lol.

Just a quick suggestion. If you cut a hole in the plywood that you have proped up on sticks and stumps, it will lower your chance of getting hit. Just a rectangle but not huge....its very effective
