2 things - 1) If you don't want a baby, either don't have sex or use a condom or some kind of birth control. 2) If you do find out you're pregnant, make sure you surround yourself with supportive people. My best friend had a baby at 19. I know it's not 16 but it's still hard. Her dad and her partner (at the time) wanted her to get rid of it. Because she didn't listen to them, she now has a gorgeous 3 yr old son who is the brightest thing in her life. She's getting married next year.
personally, i think Teen Mom and Pregnant at 16 have kind of glamourized teenage pregnancy. They get paid and they are famous for becoming pregnant at 16. Babies are adorable and all, but that doesnt mean 16 year olds should be pregnant. Babies are hard to take care of. They should at least finish high school and have a means of support other than their parents

Yes they may have had a child early, yes they didn't go to night clubs and they didn't get an education and they are not rich but they wouldn't be all depressed they would love their daughter to the end of the universe and back. 18 may be a teenager, but here in the UK, it is also the age at which you are considered to be a legal adult, each to their own.

It is a big mistake for our race, and our economy to have small famely's.

The golden spot for kids is between 16 and 26 for a woman, and after 30, I would not advice starting on them.
So while you can educate yourself your entire life, you cannot have kids your entire life.
Marriage is important.. dont discover at 30 you have got a ton of money, but never got the important things in life.

Yes they may have had a child early, yes they didn't go to night clubs and they didn't get an education and they are not rich but they wouldn't be all depressed they would love their daughter to the end of the universe and back. And yes life does get frustrating but you wouldn't blame the daughter on ruining their life. And instead of some cheap and nasty gift they would save up and buy her dollies to make her happy.

i had a baby when i was sixteen and it is very hard and it ruins your "teenage life" but not your whole life... so what i had to grow up fast... but my daughters are worth it and yeah my mom really didnt ever talk to me about sex so i didnt understand every thing fully, not that im blaming her. but me and my husband are still together after 5 years and it all bc of me having my daughter :) every thing happens for a reason :)).

18 may be a teenager, but here in the UK, it is also the age at which you are considered to be a legal adult, each to their own.
I have known 15 year olds take responsibility for their actions and to be very sensible, on the other hand I know 24 year olds who seriously need to grow up and I wouldn't trust with a goldfish.
