the version of the story i heard was that the match point was mixed up in a scuffle with the "italians" and ended up defending themselves with the deck hose. apparently the "italians" were throwing items at the match point.
Rumour has it he exposed himself, threw a frying pan, and pelted the window of the Corsair with sodas. Then the Chubasco comes along and starts spraying the italian with his washdown. A few other guys also started spraying the carpet layer. Then at the end the Bellatrix came along and sprayed the Chubasco, to make it an all around brawl. Long live fishing 0.4 miles over the south line at the end of the season for absolutly no fish. Bristol Bay at its finest!
This is the legendary fight on the Johnston Hill line. Who is the nutty italian boat? I want to say Maria Helena, but i dunno. You can see the skipper on the italian boat flipping out and screaming at the Corsair.
@51M51MA Sounds like all of 'em to me. Had a few encounters of the 4th kind last year, except the Italian guy blamed us for getting his own gear in the wheel. Couldn't understand a word he said
