they are absolutely beautiful and i wish i could have one. i have had a hapi ufo for sometime now tho, and the possibilities are almost as limitless as the hang, just not as unusual sounding. i love it tho, and would highly recommend one.

if you look into hapi, get the UFO series. they have many notes just like this one, and a middle C in the center just like the hangs. love them both tho.

I recently went to oddmusic.com and saw this hang in their gallery....2 guys make these in switzerland and they sell for 1500....it says you have to get on a waiting list...the sound is superb!!

if you'd like one made in america you can get a halo drum....made by pantheon steel. You need to get on a waiting list and will not receive one till 2010. They are going for 1500:) well worth it I think:)

Two solo Swedish drum makers...they go for a good 15 hundred if not more. They don't distribute many annually, so there's a huge waiting list and from what I hear they prefer you come to Sweden rather than ship the drum. But there's a new drum that emulates the sound pretty well, called the Halo. Google it, it's super rad. The Hapi drum is also a super fun rig.. just not a hang. My apologies if you already knew all of this, or if I sound like a stuck up knowitall. Just wanted to help. Peace

This is like a secret-agent/detective-song. I feel like this would sound at home on the Death Note official soundtrack. I love the tones of the drums, how they are so well tuned that they are almost as musical as the hang. Favourited!!!
