  • Im a little concerned at how they intend to do this by 2015, after all they'v built a lot of underground bases to prepare for 2012 plus, and I don't trust they have good will. Gov is just a puppet for the S group, the shadow gov, black ops, and para military complex, international bankers and their real puppet masters. And they need to be addressed by the people, we need safety, transparency, disclosure and an end to banks and slavery. Venus Project, equalty world wide, and peace. Much Love!

  • End poverty ,loan me $20 not Gov.taxpayer , but you

  • We are '' UNASCAD '' in Haïti. We join our voice to all for sending a clear and precious message to G8 in the geat fight against poverty. No we want that the poverty ceases where deceases throughout the world

  • about 80% of people in Africa are under the poverty line. this means that by 2015 the number would even be higher than that. According to the research, morbidity and mortality are proportion to poverty so by the end of 2015 many Africans would be no more. So should we wait until they all die. NO! END POVERTY NOW FULFILL YOUR PROMISES.

  • It is SO stupid that we aren't doing more, and that what we are doing we aren't doing right. It's common knowledge, what is with the World's politicans that they don't get behind these goals? Last year thousands of young men risked their lives to cross the ocean in fragile, open fishing boats simply because it was better to die trying to find a future than to have none. They couldn't wait....END POVERTY NOW......because it IS within our power!

  • Is full of honnour that I congratulate you Sir.

  • i'm next to you Mr. Shetty..and next to your words...hoping that before 2015 poverty and all the troubles depending by it will be solved...

    The world can wait..End poverty

not words just said but a committment..

  • as world leaders i ask you to lead the world from poverty, that you have the courage & committment to make a decision today that will make poverty history! "the world cant wait, end poverty now"

  • A couple of countries decide the destiny of the rest of the world...that reminds me of something...but once upon a time it was one country that decided all..yeah, progress oO

  • This can be done- it is just a matter of political will. Colonial slavery was once accepted as an " economic reality" but then overturned. Global poverty and modern slavery will also be relegated to a dark part of our global history. This process is unstoppable.

  • I agree stupid Bush is giving 30 Billion of USA Taxpayer Dollars to Africa for Aids medicine, that evil Turd impeach him now !

  • Stop extrême poverty now!

  • End Poverty Now.

  • The world cant wait. End poverty now! It shouldnt be so hard to understand...why is it taking so long? Are the most powerful nations incapable of keeping their promesses? The world cant wait! Lets move faster! End poverty now!

  • There is so much work to be done to end poverty that any delay will result in untold suffering. We need leadership and vision from the G8 leaders and a completely new relationship between rich and poor

  • please stop world poverty... now!

put people and ecology before profit.

  • Poverty is not natural. ITS CREATED BY PEOPLE IN UNFAIR SITUATIONS. WE STRONGLY CONDEMN THIS SOCIAL INJUSTICE. WE CANT TOLERATE any more children starving while a small group get richer and richer. WE ALL PEOPLE OF THE WORLD HAVE THE POWER,JUST LETS STAND UP!! remember the glorious moment in history when the people woke up. LETS REMIND THE WORLD LEADERS THIER PROMISE or we the people will condemn them. For a better world with social justice and freedom!!! PERU

  • G8 countries are in a position to work towards ending poverty in world. It is not wishful thinking. It can be done if the G8 countries are commited. Nations should be stopped from building weapons of destruction and should be stopped in investing in weapons. Wars shoild be stopped at all costs which only lead to more poverty, more destruction, more anger, more frustration. Please G8 have pity on the world's people.

  • You are good people and you have made wonderful promises. You have the power to fulfill them. You are acting on out behalf - do not let us down.

The uneven distribution of wealth that currently exists in this world keeps us all down - some through poverty and starvation, others through another form of poverty, poverty of soul. I do not want to live a life of pleasure and excess from the profits of another's desolation. I hope that you feel the same.

We, the world, can't wait. End poverty. Now!

  • World Poverty is a Crime, so it must end now. The world richest countries must think hard to end the global poverty. Poverty breeds various global problems-threat to world environment, conflict and crime, HIV/AIDS etc. Therefore, keeping this in mind, the Poverty must end now.

  • Poverty and its associated malaise like diseases, terrorism etc can be stopped if only world leaders are committed to fighting them. Lets save our generation and generations yet unborn from avoidable repercussions before we begin regreting for not acting on time. This is the only world we have to live in. We must act NOW!

    -Ebenezer

  • You have the power to end POVERTY NOW. Please use that power!

  • Act for humanity - not industrial interests.

  • We can't just look and say - well, that's the way the world is... No! We have to do something about it!

    Please, END POVERTY! NOW!

  • Dear Angela Merkel, Stephen Harper, Romano Prodi, Shinzo Abe, Nicolas Sarkozy, Tony Blair, George W. Bush, and Vladimir Putin.

You are our leaders, you have the responsibility. Please take bigger steps to end poverty during this meeting.

  • We the urban poor groups from Mumbai are waiting... We want a better world with food, livelihood, housing, education, health and peace... ( YUVA URBAN, Mumbai, India)

    End poverty now..

  • It is time to challenge the inequitable distribution of wealth. The richest of the world steal from our commonwealth. Until Governments ona global level are prepared to challenge this, it will be difficult o achieve the millenium goals

  • Please, this is 2007. In this century there should be no poverty. These extreme problems we face make life difficult for everyone to live happily. Please help us all to live well and be happy by helping those dying of hunger at least have a chance to improve their situation. We need to stick to the Millenium goal targets. They are a ray of sunshine in dismal days. We are counting on you, our elected leaders.

  • Thankyou our lives are certainly diminished in the current climate

  • More research and development needed in agricultural activities to uplift rural livelihoods and improve food security.Abject poverty is making people to depend and exploit the environment unsustainably.Development of sustainable agriculture which most African families depend on is critical on achieving poverty alleviation, excellent healthcare and all MDGs.THE WORLD CAN'T WAIT,END POVERTY NOW!

  • There are so many people suffering around the world, many of whom are children. We only have 8 years to go to fulfill the 8 millenium development goals. Let us be one in telling our leaders "The world can't wait, END POVERTY NOW!

  • World leaders set a deadline of 2015 to stamp out extreme poverty. We are tired of an annual gathering of rich nations making empty promises. It is time fulfill their promises...No Excuse! The World Can't Wait. End Poverty Now!

  • No means of recording my response- but YES! I agree wholeheartedly.

The world is in your hands.

  • We can't hide behind the excuse that this isn't do-able. Not to try is to fail. And there is no peace in an unequal world.

  • The world can't wait. End Poverty. Now!

This is the utmost priority in the world, we must do it. Leaders must listen to us.

  • Poverty creates the conditions for fascism and extremism.

Economic development and opportunity sow the seeds of democracy.

Meet the millenium development goals now!

  • Rich people in this world: do you have no decency?

The World can't wait. End poverty now!

  • It is imperative at this point, for leaders of the G8 group, to make reality the Milenium Development goals, by the year set of 2015. In these times of such dispair and disasters, as well as conflict, many people find themselves unable to progress and escape poverty.Let's not let these people leave in destitution anymore, let's make our leaders listen to our voices and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!

  • The World can't wait. It is the time to end poverty and stop pretending we don't know and we don't see. So that that the word 'mankind' has a bright meaning.

  • The G-8 governments supposedly setting the tone for the world need to pay attention right now and direct their might towards the elimination of poverty, the promotion of education and the accessibility to healtcare services for all. Right now, before loosing focus and moving on to something else, thus improving respect towards all human beings irrelevant of race, religion, gender (not simply to a one or two per cent of the world population)

  • There is no excuse for the richest countries in the world to remate comatose in light of global poverty. Passive behavior is synonymous with condoning internnational hunger, famine, and disease; this is not acceptable. G8, do something good for the world and increase foreign aid to the needy.

  • We must indeed end poverty. It is well within our power to do so. Our children and all the children of the world deserve a place where everyone goes to bed well fed, loved and cared for. END POVERTY NOW!

  • I agree. With g8 happening this week, there's no better time then now to tell our leaders what we expect of them. The people dying every day from poverty definitely can't wait and neither should we!
