Very cool! I love agility! And shibas are the cutest ever. The shots and angles are -fantastic-, seriously! I wasn't so keen on seeing the slow-mo 'instant replay' after so many of the shots. But overall you did a marvelous job with the editing!
Nice job! I know a lot of people with Shiba Inu and their hard to train in agility! They only want to do what they want. Great job with him, I know the breed is hard to train... amazing
:) My camera came *this close* to bouncing off the A frame when she jumped onto the other side of it...but it was so worth it for the finished product. It was lots of fun to make, and Shelby totally didn't care about the camera.
OK, I can tell that you know what you're doing and I would really appreciate it if you checked out my two dog jumping vids XD and perhaps give me some hints? I think that they both have potential, at least the brown one (Monty) does. I don't know how high they are capable of jumping or how to train them to do all of the other agility things. They've been jumping 2 ft 2 in now.
wow, you need to give me some tips on training my shiba. I would love to go do agility with him, he is a little hard-headed though, but i guess all shibas are that way
Heh, it's not exactly hard-headed, I've learned (the hard way), so much as it is a desire to be in control. You have to convince the dog that in certain instances, it's best if you're the one calling the shots, not him. Agility is a good playing ground for that conversation. We still have a long way to go, but it's improved my relationship with Shelby, and we're more of a partnership now.
Trust me...there are still plenty of times where my dog flips me the paw and takes off in the opposite direction. :) It's just a lot of patience, treats, and time.
she is sooo adorable love her!! she sores over those jumps like its no big deal at all! shes so good at the course she watches you so well! and i love the camera angles :P

Just work with your dog from day one--just little things each day to keep his/her mind focused. They are very smart and they like challenges!
