i'm trying to make a phoenix wright flash. but the friggin program wont let me trace the bitmap, so i can't remove the blue colour in the background from the sprites! can someone plz help me here? O_O

@chrisall76 well, i double click the sprite, select trace bitmap, choose 1 on all and select ''pixels''. and when it's finished, the sprite get's all mushed up, and looks like something that came out of satans asshole

the upside-down pic could be flipped in flash.. dont worry about that.. just click on the pic then u will find tiny boxes on its perimeter.. just drag the one located at center top of the image.. drag the box across the pic until it reach its opposite box (the one at the center bottom of the image).. but while u drag.. press SHIFT to retain its size.. thats all..=)

ok, to all people who ask, "how do i remove the color??" "I am stuck getting the colour off", ok, here what you have to do, first double click the sprite, select 'Modify' - 'Bitmap' - 'Trace Bitmap' then set the Color threshold and Minimum area to 1. ok from this, deselect it, then click the background (the annoying color), then press DELETE! just like that!!

Alright simple questions.. Reason your sprite turns up side down is because you use paint instead of Photoshop, And no i will not give you free photoshop GOOGLE IT OR YOUTUBE IT :|

Do sprites HAVE to have blue backgrounds? I dont kno why, but I edited the backgrounds of my sprites black. And when i followed this video exactly, the bitmap text stays gray so i cant click on it to delete the background.

How do you delete the colors? I did exacly what was told in the video, but when i click on the color, and when i delete, it deletes the whole sprite(s)!

after you traced the bitmap, make sure you select the color, not the sprites.... (just click the color)

good clip, tho it wouldve been much helpful if you added actual sound so that you can narrate as you animate what youre doing. plus the lil bubbles in between what youre doing wouldve been much useful in describing how youre making your walking animations. not to bust your balls or anything, but no sounds make not interesting clip.
