The only problem with making both kinds of tokens the same size is that it would make it easier to confuse the two. There needs to be a way to read between their hierarchy. Maybe you need to alter the thickness? or perhaps upgrade the size of both.
@nomnisang I don't think I'd make them the same size, but there's plenty of room to grow them and keep them distinct from the element tokens. What also doesn't read clearly in the video is that the designs on the Will and Ego tokens are distinct.
