everyone has their own preference in sound... i think maggies sound "good" but i like for my cars to really roar. This is a more subtle/quiet sounding exhaust but it still has an amazing tone! Just depends on what youre looking for i guess. I usually go for dynomax bullets or other straight through mufflers to really get the straight pipe sound without as much drone.

I also have a 450 hp '72 Chevelle and a 400 hp Silverado and they both have 1-chambered Flowmasters. There is a differences between full race and street performance mufflers. I like the sound of his system. Just sayin.

I have a Chevelle with 1-Chamber Flowmasters and a Silverado with 3-Chamber Flowmasters. Even though it quiet it still sound like a V8. It sound fine to me. But that is just my opinion.

Loud doesn't always mean better. I think it has a better sound quality than the stock without letting everyone know from a mile away that your comming. I think it would be a good exhaust for a sleeper. I rather have a good sounding car that's fast than a slow loud one. It is about what you want in the end. It still flow better and makes more hp than stock and that's all that really matters. This vid gets a "like" from me!

I have the same system on my 2011 ss but yours seems to sound a little deeper/quieter for some reason. Maybe its just the recording but do make sure you cut off that resonator and run a x-pipe. Did you run 3" pipes or keep the originals?
