@leaveitta don't be scared just start to prepare now. Food and firearms are the most important to have not to forget clean drinking water. Have at least food and water for 6mos or more. And move away from the city or suburbs and u should be ok. This crap right here is overkill. If you got everything i meationed plus got another $300,000 to throw away then by all means go for it.
It would seem wise to have a large underground storage tank for water, and even another for fuel. I wonder about cooking inside the shelter, which has vents, but the smell of food might attract human predators.
@TheGamerOnWii I was standing outside and smelled cooking hotdogs--pan fried actually. It reminded me that I was hungry. If you are starving wanderer in the post-apocalyptic wastes and you smell food cooking, you are gonna start following your nose. Putting the exhaust vents remote and masking them somehow seems prudent.
I love the look of the lady on the right he was talking to. Giving him the look like "You've got to be kidding me."
I've kind of got the same idea looking at this thing... You're like, seriously series about these things? It would be utter misery to live in this space for more than a week, let alone one to three years. Unending numbers of flaws, including no horizontal or vertical bracing of appreciable strength, angle iron twists easily. This thing is a joke, at best. A deathtrap at worst.
@dman0042 I feel sorry for all lost souls that don't believe in god. Have fun living out the rest of ur days hiding in a tin can under ground. God has a plan for everything. A underground tin can wont save you me or anyone.
One of the better planed units I've seen... The thing is that Inless you have loads of money to eliminate all problems you may have you are at slight risk to exposer to some degree. Survival is for the rich or for the prepared that dedicate there time and any extra money they have as they know something is not right.... But there's no way to be completely self sufficient underground on a budget.
2 years of food is great, but where do you poop if you can't open the hatch b/c of radiation?? Is it off the grid? Where's the power coming from if the grid is down?

@SolDePace You don't need a toilet, Trust me, When that bitch is flooded and all you got is a few scraps of food and a plant to keep you alive. You will eat your shit, Trust me. What if it was a nuclear disaster, Say good bye to your tree. What if it was a big tsunami hits, Say good bye to your tree. What if a Asteroid hits, Say good bye to your tree. What if the sun was blocked out, say good bye to your tree. That tree may not always be there. So might as well say goodbye to your tree.
Sooo many faults with this i havent space to list em. From an outside perspective, all i have to do to kill you is block all vents or pump gas/water in & the occupants are dead. From an occupiers perspective, 2/3 years in a hole you and all food and water gone, you will be absolutely paraniod beyond belief to open that door under ANY circumstance for sheer terror of what may await on the other side.Your mental health will be your biggest enemy by far
What the hell? What about radiation? large medical equitment? Or a place to cook? And The fact the the place is so narrow only one person could walk at a time (and you could just imagine how long that would last for) And the fact sence there are no corners, radiation can go straight and kill every little soul in it, because radiation can't travel corners. And what if someone gets a heart condition? Would you just throw them outside. Theres no space for a heart monitor. not designed well. simple
@fredboyking I believe you mean radiation travels in a straight line and can't turn corners. That would only possibly cause an issue with their vertical escape, but short of the bomb going off directly overhead as long as it was under 5 feet of ground direct radiation exposure would be minimal. Additionally, the exterior is not shown. If that vertical access had a small concrete covering/entrance way you'd definitely not have a problem.
@bastone48 Yes sorry that's what I had meant to say, but still, the "shelter" Needs to have more room, you can't throw a group of strangers in a small space and not expect confict. It's Human nature.
What does the air vent look like on the surface? Can it be sabotaged? This is a full package... Where do you store water? I saw a sink but is that not a waste of space if you are cut off? Good concept..
Where is the water storage? How do you charge the batteries if there is a permanent cloud? How abot the stealth factor... hiding the entrance, solar panels, air intake, and exhaust?
@alexansary Easy fix for indoor fires... use a non-toxic gas to deplete the oxygen from the room(used in data centers) and be sure to keep a small oxygen tank and mask in every room... Its better to suffocate for about 20 to 30 seconds rather than to burn to death...
@alexansary Great answer to the fire question... Good luck in your tomb. If you make it out alive have you thought how "up top" survivors may treat you? We will tell the difference...Plus with your large coffin limits your chances of surviving. Your like a 2 yr old child who hides in their toy box because of a fire in the house. Ive watched many vids on this subject and no one speaks of mental prepardness and lastly what if a truck is parked on top of your hatch? Can you pull the trigger?
@batterygrunt What tomb? this video was produced for a friend..I have more faith in my creator than a silly bunker..WHy dont you ask me what I think instead of assuming because i put a video on youtube that I live in fear? its the guys that are selling the bunker that live in fear...I opening a store for them last year that went sour when Richards friend got verbally abusive with me..My main thing is presenting INFORMATION on my access tv show..

(obviously not you by your remarks) You sound real sensitive since you ONLY put up this vid. Remember the question was directed at the idiot in the vid or maker. Not you or some 3rd party. So how is your tv access show going? Did you flush it? LMAO@U
the funny thing about end of the world shelters or even nuclear shelters is, after the 2-3 years of food supply is done your pretty much fucked, I would rather go out right when the bomb drop than waste your time on a small shelter for years only to go up and get exposed to the radiation which will give you a slow death and not be able to fin good since the land would be all fucked up from the explosion.
@cvunit Look at Japan. The radiation doesn't take that long to dissipate. And depending on the size of the bomb only the land within a couple miles of the detonation site would be leveled. People outside that couple mile radius would only have to worry about fallout, which would dissipate with time. You should only need a few months, much less a year. It's highly doubtful unless you live in a large city or right next to a military base that you'd be in that blast area.
@bastone48 Ok, then how come to this day people are still affected by the atomic bombs dropped is Japan during WW2 60 years ago? Also keep in mind the nuclear weapons today are over 60,000 or 600,000 stronger then those dropped in Japan.
@cvunit Those not exposed to the direct blast had higher rates of cancer and birth defects, but they're not having their hair fall out or otherwise dying of radiation. The bomb dropped on Japan Hiroshima was 18kt versus the largest of 100MT today. However countries switched primary to ICBMs with MERVs of 20MT or less. The level of destruction is not linear though, so a 36KT does not cause twice as must damage as an 18KT. If you are miles away and even 3ft underground you should be fine.
where all going to die one day and no shelter will stop that you can go out like a little girl hiding under her bed or a man fighting but whats going to stop the people that installed and delivered your shelter from showing up with there family's with a cutting torch and a shot gun trying to take what food and water you saved i know i would and if i couldn't get in i would make sure it was your tomb
@Gngrcpl lol!!!!!!!!!! these comments are better then this stupid shelter ! This man's shelter i would not ever buy! So many issues left over to deal with..
@1234tomj I am not selling these But I did make the video for free for this person that ended up screwing me over big time after I opend the Portland Preparednss Center. (Porlands first real survival store.) So its a long story..but my advice would be to build a shelter yourself.
@shadowhunter388 actually there is a way to get oxygen from the water, after all it's chemical structure is H2O. Or if you put this underground near a tree you could probably camaflauge an air vent tube to the top of the tree.
@therotaryrocket True but what if it was a nuclear disaster, Say good bye to your tree. What if it was a big tsunami or something, Say good by to your tree or be over flooded where your tree can't even get air. What if a Asteroid hits, Say good by to your tree. What if the sun was blocked out, say good bye to your tree. That tree may not always be there.
@shadowhunter388 If it's a nuclear disaster your probably SOL. If your worried about that look into buying one of those decommissioned missile silos. I believe they run about 100 K. Now mind you that just gets you the unit with basically whatever was left behind. (no missile tho *sighs*)
thay dont tell you this unit with nothing in it is $55.000 + no delivery. and does not come with the stair case. do your home work and check out other sources like Hardened structures and safecasle. just get the best bang for you buck.
@serger2010 Utah Shelter Systems is, in my opinion, by far and away the best shelter company in the business. They build shelters like this but are better at doing so.
If you cannot afford this type I recommend The $50 & up underground house book & videos by Mike Oehler - a true pioneer in this field for over 40 years.

@1234tomj I am not selling these But I did make the video for free for this person that ended up screwing me over big time after I opend the Portland Preparednss Center. (Porlands first real survival store.) So its a long story..but my advice would be to build a shelter yourself.

Water safe. What is the point? If it is flooded. Where are you going to get your oxygen supply? Out of the water? LOL okay.
shadowhunter388 11 months ago
@shadowhunter388 you are correct and asking the right questions.
alexansary 10 months ago
@shadowhunter388 actually there is a way to get oxygen from the water, after all it's chemical structure is H2O. Or if you put this underground near a tree you could probably camaflauge an air vent tube to the top of the tree.
therotaryrocket 9 months ago

@12OunceProphet Say goodbye to your tree.
shadowhunter388 6 months ago
@shadowhunter388 well you could put plants in one of those pods/with uv lamps, or use vents till you get to a flood type problem.
daylanrayne 9 months ago
@shadowhunter388 Keep some oxygen tanks, lol. And if plants can stay alive down there awhile, take some plants.

thay dont tell you this unit with nothing in it is $55.000 + no delivery. and does not come with the stair case. do your home work and check out other sources like Hardened structures and safecasle. just get the best bang for you buck.

@serger2010 Utah Shelter Systems is, in my opinion, by far and away the best shelter company in the business. They build shelters like this but are better at doing so.
hrdknox2000 11 months ago
@serger2010 yes do that..build it yourself..I do not support this mans work any longer after he ripped me off.
alexansary 10 months ago
@alexansary Im sorry to hear that I thought his prices where way out of control. for what you get.

I just wanted to mention that someone needs to rig a collapsible exercise bike to
manufacture electricity for when no solar power exists.

If you cannot afford this type I recommend The $50 & up underground house book & videos by Mike Oehler - a true pioneer in this field for over 40 years.

Thank you for the ides. Well done!
Meticulously planned,
but most of us havent the financial wherewithal
to purchase the land and dig it out and
install this fine creation.
