I was worried there might not be enough grounds for this installment in the series, as it still feels like Refn's career is young. But there is absolutely an outstanding body of work to pick from, and a singular directorial feeling that you capture perfectly in just 20 seconds.

They're beautiful tributes and they're done at the same level of editing excellence as Joe has accomplished with his "The Works" series. I personally prefer "The Works" but please, do me a favor, and check out kees' [the films of] series. You won't be disappointed. :}

especially considering what other pieces of crap got in, Nicolas at least deserved a nomination.
