i travel to New York OFten and have stayed in both the Waldorf and the Plaza and i must say i prefer the Plaza it still has that turn of the century charm..... but the furniture and things l new i jut feel like the waldorf seems beat up .... the plaza on the other hand looks as though its still in its prime
lol im just back from waldorf it is great! only im 14 so i didnt go to the bar in the loby near reception but there are nice christmas trees in the loby so i gona sit there:P
completely agree with you, its my favourite hotel in the world too, but i couldnt put into words why !
stayed there towards the end of last summer, just incredible !
