The big difference for me is £10 a month. The atrix is definitely worth a go if you don't want to pay much a month. Sure most people will go for the more fashionable iphone 4 but the atrix is very good for £20 a month contract.

Ive had both phones side by side and my take is the iPhone is the more stable phone with the Atrix having the ability to customize. But you can jailbreak the iPhone to customize but nothing can be done to the Atrix for stability.

The next iteration of the iPhone will have the same size screen (rumor says a bump in size, maybe), but the phone itself will still generally be the same. Rumors and speculation aside, comparing these two phones can pinpoint the faults in both, and this is helpful when I know what I have, and know what I might not get in the Atrix.

@jmock78 If you're basing your decision from rumors, you're messing up. Keep in mind the iPhone 4 has a higher resolution, giving the phone a higher quality picture. I am assuming the new iPhone will have the same Retina display with a bigger screen size. Also, the new iOS5 is quite the upgrade from the iOS4.

Its possible the internet speeds were biased in this video.Often home routers set device priority. The prioritized device device will get higher speeds.

Just bought my atrix yesterday and sold my iphone 4. Best mobile decision ever. I had Jailbroken and tweaked my iphone as far as it could go but it still couldn't match up to android. I've had my Atrix for about two months now and so far absolutely no complaints. I swtiched from an iPhone 4 and I can say I do not miss the iPhone. So far the battery life has been similar.

The atrix is one of the glitchiest phones I've ever used in my life. Its not as smooth a the iPhone in things like scrolling and pinch to zoom. The atrix is made of plastic and the iPhone is made of hard glass. The iPhone just looks badass and wins the battle before you even turn it on.

The problem is the newer iphones look like all the others iphones maybe a bit different but still the same. plus they make loads of money from bringing a new one out every year or so with only a few tweaks or upgrades. The same can be said about androids no real difference in shape just a big screen only the home menus and user interface is diffrent. That said i would still pick this phone because its awsome

Personally, I own an Iphone 3gs and I am currently interested in switching over to the Android platform and one of the phones I am interested in is the Atrix. if anyone cares..when running the same aps the atrix like any other android phone is not nearly as smooth as the iphone the atrix chops up when scrolling through the app pages I personally dont understand it because as far as specs the atrix blows it away but if your liek me and you love the fluid movement when scrolling and the choppy draggin when swiping through pages or aps annoys the hell out of you the atrix does

That's because when you scroll with the iPhone, it stops refreshing and updating the screen. The Atrix and any other Android phone continues to update and refresh the screen as you scroll.

To me, all of these Android vs. iPhone 4 comparisions is always a win for Android. There's not much difference between them except the UI. So when you get HTC you get Sense, Motorola Motoblur, Samsung TouchWiz and so on. But when I had a HTC Desire I used LauncherPro and made the phone as customizeable as possible without making it ugly.
