Any recomendations on realitively cheap (around 1500-2500 worth) mods. What have you done to push the RB20 to 330-340atw?PM me if you like, cheers cal.

You may be right re the weight, but i saw the size of the turbo and its tuned by Nizpro. I was talking to one of their mechanics on the day and only repeating what i was told. Looking at the turbo i have a hard time believing it only has 220hp, though it is still a Z18. But why run a big Garrett roller for the sort of power you can get from an S15 turbo? As for sucker? Very mature, why am i a sucker, because a race car is quicker then my road car? I dont care, at least i am out there having fun
Its an internally std RB20. I am running the Power Fc released by AP Engineering that suits the R32 RB20. Not very common ECU these days but can still source them for around AUS$1700
Little bit rough price wise, might just go with an AEM EMS unit unless I can find someone to tune my stock ECU and just use an SAFC. What turbo are you using?
Yeh, it hurts to be payign almost twice the price for a Power Fc for the R32, but its drive high by the demand for them. :( I am running a Trust TD06-20G setup
It has about 330-340hp at the wheels. On the front straight i think it gets to about 220km/h, and on the back straight i think i have touched around 230km/h. Cant recall exactly, would have to look up the data logger. But that would be pretty close
LOL...no. There was a Lada Niva there on the day doing recovery :) But thats a Datsun 1600 Sports Sedan, weighing something like 800kg with 500hp. So not surprised he blows past me in a straight line
Combination of things. LOL, mostly driver. The car was leaking fluid which meant that the rear was a bit skittish after a long stretch. The last conrer on the vid was so skaty because of the marbles/etc stuck to the tyres from going off line. So leak fixed and new suspension going in to stop the pitching under brakes. Hopefully be a lot more settled next time out in July

Noticed you had a power FC. Are you running an RB25? I plan on hitting around 330ish on my RB20 this summer but was worried about engine management.
